Week 15 Questions for Bloom (1 Viewer)

QB question. 4 pts per TD pass.

* R. Fitz @DAL

* K. Cousins vs BUF

* R. Tannehill @SD

* TJ Yates @INDY

Have Fitz in as starter now. Would have to pick up one of the other three.

NOTE: My opponent is starting B. Marshall.

NOTE II: Projections have me as a slight underdog. He's got good matchups with Stafford/Lacy/Freeman/AJ/Marshall. Feel like playing it safe may not cut it.

Thanks
fitz

Sig, I am a little confused by your response below. Are we to take your advice in this thread or the advice through the 10 Second Primer link that shows your recommendations? The advice is different. Here is your response yesterday:

League 2 - Non-PPR, 12 team This is the Super Bowl. It is a 2 week competition/results.

QB - Palmer or Carr

RB - Starting Gurly. Pick one other - Hightower, Gore, CJA, Sproles, Powell

WR - Pick 2 - Calvin, Arob, JBrown, Amendola

Flex - Pick 1 from RB/WRs above

TE - Eiffert or pick up Rudolph, Tye, Tamme, Ertz, Fleener, Wilson, Hill, Ladarious

D - Jets or Steelers

Your Response:
palmer

hightower

calvin arob

jbrown

ertz

NYJ

My questions:

But if I go to the 10 second primer link, you have Gore over Hightower and both over Brown. Is it more cuz of upside for Brown? Are you still recommending or thinking Brown over Gore/Hightower. Also, I picked up Locket on WW and he shows up on ur list over all 3. You recommend Hightower as RB2 but rank Gore higher in projections. So would you flex Gore, Lockett or Brown (or Hightower). What would your starting lineup look like then? Thank you...
you're right. i have moved gore down and hightower up. but flex lockett

14 Team, .5PPR, I need to start 2 of these RBs: Woody, Joique, Ware, Vereen or Karlos.

We start 3 Wrs & I'm flexing another from this list: ODB, ARob, Alshon, Michael Floyd, Edelman...who do I bench?

Thanks!
woody, vereen, and pray

edelman

12 Team PPR, I picked up J Hill off waivers, however, I didn't realize at the time that the team that dropped him was also dumping his entire starting roster because he didn't make the playoffs. Anyways, to be fair I am not starting him. I need to start 2: Woody, DRob, Crow. Or drop J Hill for: Alf, Ajayi, C Michael, Tolbert, M Ball....(rough list!)

Thanks!

Hey Sig,

Looking for love in all the wrong places… and found it with T. Austin last night.

However, I am still in need of some assistance.

PPR, 1.5PPR TE

Choose (2) - (1) WR and (1) Flex

J. Allen vs KC - Tough match up at home. West on injury report with calf. A Schaub start would be slightly better than Clausen, but…

T.Y. Hilton vs HOU - Hasselbeck playing J.J. Watt roulette. Whitehurst is stat killer - "dashboard-jesus", true to his name… plays like a stiff.

T. Lockett vs CLE - May be too EZ an opponent reducing opportunity. And, sharing those ops' with Baldwin, Kearse. What if it's B. Brown's day?

M. Jones @ SFO - AJ McCarron???, No Eiffert???, but last weeks stats were 4Q garbage time and AJ was the favorite.

M. Wheaton vs DEN - hoping for repeat of W12@SEA performance

J. Kearse vs CLE - see Lockett

N. Washington @ IND

J. Tamme @ JAX

O. Daniels @ PIT

TIA

Hey Sig,

Need some help with flex spot. Non-ppr but bonus for length of score. Choices are;

Hightower
Latavius Murray
TY Hilton

Also am torn at tight end - Kelce or Heath Miller.

TIA

TE question. 0.5 pts per reception.

Frustrated with Kelce and he has a bad matchup. Roll the dice with any of these guys?

* T. Kelce @BALT -- Baltimore tough on TEs.

* V. Davis @PIT -- PIT forgiving in the middle and Davis almost had a HUGE game last week if not for a bad drop. Brock looking for him.

* K. Rudolph vs CHI -- Chicago statistically tough vs TEs, but gave up a ton against J. Reed.

* C. Walford vs GB

* V. McDonald vs CINCI

Stand pat with Kelce or be bold in the semis?

Thanks

Mr Bloom,

Standard scoring, non-ppr. Need 1 flex from:

James White

Fozzy Whittaker

Danny Woodhead

Markus Wheaton

Gary Barnidge

Thank you sir.

Hey Sig,

First time poster, long time reader. Love the work you do here at Football Guys! I'm in dire need of help this week as I go up against a near undefeated team in the playoffs.

This is a full point PPR league. We start 1 QB, 2 RB's, 2 WR's, 1 TE, 1 Flex, and a DEF, so just the usual setup. Here's the team:

QB- Newton

RB- D. Johnson (ARI), D. Robinson, Hightower, Hillman, Gore, Draughn, J. White, Bolden, Bryce Brown

WR- OBJ, Hopkins, Jeffery, Allen Robinson

TE- Kelce (Could pick up Tye, Z. Miller, or Tamme if you think they're better options at this point)

DEF- Panthers, Chiefs, Bengals

Sort of unsure of who to start here. Who would you go with Sig? Thank you sir! And good luck with your teams this week too!

i like vernon this week

Kelce owner but very concerned about his production. Terrible matchup as well this week. Vernon Davis and Heath Miller available as well. Would you start either of them over Kelce this week? What if you had to drop Kelce to do it? My opponent and I are projected to score about the same.

Need 2 out of 3 in a PPR, I already have B Marshall locked in. Im facing a set of boom recievers this week, he has Lockett, Ginn, Cooks as his WRs.

Fitz @ Eagles

Landry @ Chargers

M Bryant.

Thanks

1 PPR league, 6 Pts per all TD's, 1 Pt per 10 yards Rush or receiving.

Need to start 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, Flex #1 (WR/RB/TE) and Flex #2 (WR or TE only)

RB's: Woodhead, have all Seattle RB's (Brown, Michael, Coleman, F-Jax), Spiller, Crowell

WR's: A.Brown, Cobb, Shorts, Edelman

TE: Olsen, Watson

Set for now:

RB: Woodhead

WR: A.Brown, Cobb,

TE: Olsen

Flex 1: Shorts

Flex 2: Watson

Should I look at a different Flex 1? Edelman if active, Take a stab in the dark with one of the Sea RB's, of the other less attractive RB's?

Thanks Sig!

In a 1/2 PPR League, I have to start Charcandrick West as my RB1 and either James White or Fozzy Whittaker at RB2.

CAP is still available, but I think I need to go floor here. What do you think Sig?

Need WR. 0.5 pts per reception.

Hilton's upside seems limited with Hassleback although he does have a decent history against HOU. Also, Moncrief is banged up.

Choices:

* TY Hilton vs HOU

* M. Wheaton vs DEN -- CBs focus on Brown/Bryant?

* S. Diggs vs CHI -- Quiet lately, but did burn Chicago last time out.

* R. Woods @WASH -- Clay out.

* J. Kearse vs CLE -- this seems like a dart throw.

Stick with Hilton?

Thanks

Sig, in standard, who do you like: kelce, olsen, richard rodgers, zach miller, health, Wbron, or vernon davis?

Im worried Olsen is not going to be active or will be on a snap count.

So basically roll with olsen or someone else?

Hi Sig,

Also, are you still thinking Fozzy Whittaker is a decent FLEX (Friday night), with all the RB talk coming out of Rivera?

Thanks, looking for some color.

if rishard matthews is back he's not worth much. desperation play i guess

i think whittaker is good for ~60 total yards and 50/50 shot at a score

Hi Bloom! Im still alive thanks to your help!

I need 2 WR, 2 RB, and a Flex in a 0.5 ppr league. I also need a QB (lost Dalton this week)

Jeremy Maclin / Emmanual Sanders / Michael Floyd / Allen Robinson

Tim Hightower / Charcandric West / Denard Robinson - I assume West is in if Ware is out, but what if Ware is playing? How do you view West?

Philip Rivers / Matt Ryan / Jay Cutler / Kirk Cousins

Thanks for helping me to another successful season!

I got lucky last week to pull off a W after rolling with Big Ben and getting no production out of him. Now they face an even tougher defense.

I can't roll with him this week, can I?? Thinking about rolling with Smith, especially since Maclin is primed for a big day.

Thoughts?

Hey Sig,

Have a few for you.

Stafford vs N.O. or Rodgers vs OAK?

Half PPR:

Pick 2 between Crabtree vs G.B., Hill vs SF, Aiken vs KC and Powell tonight vs DAL

Hello Sig

I see Brady is being listed as questionable, is he still a start? 12 team league, standard scoring.

In league #1 I can also start Roethlisberger or Bortles instead of Brady

In league #2 I can also start Bortles instead of Brady

Still go with Brady, or start other options?

Thank you and have a Merry Christmas!
