Week 15 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

130-135 is an average score in my PPR league. I lost 187-186 and I had TO in my starting lineup.

Maybe even goes without saying that I would have throttled any other opponent except the one i played.

See you next year.

The week started off brilliantly when I decided not to play Vincent Jackson(I was playing the Rivers owner) Then today the killer both Foster and McCoy put up scraps and I lost my game to the wild card team by two points. My team had been dominant this year too , 4 more games won than the rest of the league. Just call me the fantasy version of the Indianapolis Colts or better yet San Deigo Chargers, King of the regular season thats me.

MAN, we should get together for a beer! I had the EXACT same deal. Played agianst Rivers, had VJAX but didn't start him. Then yesterday, I lose Foster and Moreno. I've had the best record in the league the last two years by a mile, won the regular seasons and points titles. Layed an egg in my first playoff game the last two years.Misery loves company so thanks for posting :cry:
 
I cruised through the entire season. Had a monster squad other owners were calling the Frankenteam. But the team I played this week put up 164. Highest score by any team all season. I put up a pedestrian 116. I'm out. This is the same team that knocked me out in the quarterfinals last year. Despair.

 
Lost 3 times to the same team this year:

- Week 1: Arian Foster runs all over the Colts

- Week 10: Vick destroys the Redskins

- Week 15: Vick destroys the Giants

Those were 3 of the 6 40+ point player scores all season, league-wide.

 
I got Grossed Out (of the playoffs)............Opponent picked up Grossman as his 2nd QB and decided to start him & Donald Brown

I had Rodgers, but had to start J.Campbell paired with A.Foster, Hillis, TO

Same combo i had. Also throw in Reggie Wayne and Tamme against his witten and manningfrigginham and I get booted as the #1 seed. This guy hasnt topped 136 all year and he has over 140 right now with woodhead and the viking D still to go.

I feel for ya. You see it all the time. A #1 team that led the league in scoring gets punted out after their bye week (which is usually also a week their team would have scored high). I guess FF really IS a lot more luck than I ever was willing to aknowledge.

Highest scoring team in one league. Didn't even sniff the playoffs. :goodposting:
 
By far the highest scoring team in my league. Run up the 2nd highest score in the league this week in the semis. Of course I have to run into Rice+Charles+Witten and lose by < 4 pts. :towelwave:

 
Had Foster & Hillis. They got me squadoosh. I was still up by 15 points until Vick went on a rampage :wall: . Now I'm doneski's.

I was in the same situation and I ran into the same team. Oof.
 
Thank you VD, MJD, Bowe and Carpenter for a collective 8 points. Best team in the league all year and lost to a crap luck team with CedBenson and Johnathan Stewart as starting RBs.

 
Lost by one point. 132-131.

Owens getting hurt cost me the game. The 2 points I needed to win were all over the place. Big Ben had two shots at a late TD pass, Zach Miller had a TD called back. Blount did not get the goal line work when it was first and goal from the 1/2 yard line and TB failed to score.

Could have overcome if Owens had stayed on the field though. :thumbup:

 
Thank you so very much to the Vikings for playing with the injury report moving Favre from OUT to active, and ADP to Inactive.. FML!!!!!

Owens getting hurt, and now ADP out = Toilet bowl..

That last second fumble by the Vikes just lost me my game and a spot in the Championship Game.

damn the BEARS D got 25 pts in my league. I was hoping they would get 50 on the Vikes 50th anniversary! haha Oh well at least we kicked some major butt and Hester was unstoppable breaking an NFL record.

 
I'm addicted to fantasy football. I read rotoworld and the shark pool year round - same for Sirius NFL radio. Did not check inactive list as I was out to dinner and it frankly slipped my mind, not sure how. Peterson was in my lineup and gerhart on my bench. The switch would have won me the game. Ouch.

 
I would like to thank Adrian Peterson and Knowshon Moreno. My best fantasy football season ever down the drain. I feel like I never want to play fantasy football ever again :popcorn:

 
Had Webb in my lineup but I heard Favre might be starting so I set my alarm to go just before the game (I'm in Europe so it's in the middle of the might), saw he was starting & took out Webb & put in Rice, ended up being the difference between winning & losing. Wish I had been in blissful ignorance, I'd be in my championship game & would have had a better nights sleep.

 
One ####### tackle. Just knock Harvin on his ### and I'm in the Championship. 23 yards of half-### tackles and I lost by 4.

I see that A lot right now (and feel it too...these same guys I feasted on all year cost me in multiple leagues).

It would be interesting to do some polling to see just how hard people take these losses and how serious some may be about not playing again. Personally, I have never known anyone to just completely walk away.

 
Lost by 1.31 points thanks to AD and TO. Had the best record in the league along with most points scored.

Both times Vick put up huge numbers I had 2 of my 3 losses (Vick was on MY team :wall: )

Had Kitna going last night in my championship game. What a ####. Couldn't go in the second half but was able to walk all around the sidelines with his baseball hat on. Hey John - why were you always pulling on the front of your pads - choking a little. *******. Glad your team lost

 
Just want to vent..

I've been in this dynasty league for 8 years and never won the championship or even really got close. This year I got soooo close. Last week in the semi-finals I lost by .7. And I had Vincent Jackson sitting on the bench. :goodposting:
