Taylor still limping on hurt foot
Club-record 129th straight start in doubt
By Craig Barnes | South Florida Sun-Sentinel
December 22, 2007
DAVIE - Dolphin Jason Taylor limped as he tried to run Friday, but neither he nor coach Cam Cameron ruled out the defensive end starting Sunday at New England.
"We'll see," said Taylor, who left the field before practice began in earnest and is listed as questionable with a left foot injury.
The limp wasn't as noticeable when he walked.
The start is significant because it will be Taylor's 129th in a row, establishing a franchise record. Hall of Fame center Jim Langer also started 128 games in succession.
"At this point, it isn't a game-time decision," Cameron said when asked about Taylor, "but we'll see how practice goes. We also have the walkthrough."
When asked if he was improved, Taylor responded, "I'm not on crutches anymore."

This has the signs of him starting to take the consecutive starts record, and being used in a limited role then. I thought I had read earlier he had that plantar fascitis (sp?) sprain. Not good for my fantasy championship game. Any homer news or thoughts out there on his effectiveness this weekend?
