For the newbie IDP'ers, you read this stuff and apply it, you will learn in weeks, what takes some IDP'ers years, and then there are some who just never get it.

Good Stuff Guys! :football:

FYI, Bloom has been adding some IDP content to some of the dynasty articles. Some discussion of Matt McCoy and Adam Seward in the Dynasty Watch column this week. Also, I'm hoping my column becomes a fairly interactive thing. There was a lot of general discussion of schemes and defense this offseason and how to apply football concepts to IDP. If there are specific situations or schemes you'd like covered shoot me an email (or post here).

I put some analysis of last year's data in my weekly article. Ran out of time to get it posted during the preseason but figured it was worth sharing.

Hope to do a much deeper study later in the season or next offseason once I can get all the data together.

Pasquino is also contributing to the IDP dynasty content (he wrote up McCoy), and Will Grant is also interested in IDPs. We all know dynasty IDP is the "real" FF ;)

I'd like to :banned: one to you guys for this, too. I have to read some of them a few times before I feel comfortable (that's the user's problem, not the manufacturer), but I'm learning more every day.

Aaron, I loved your article. I had always wondered why in some stadiums you could have a whole box score without a single assist, while on others it seemed like everyone was chipping in to bring the runner down! According to your data the following teams score greater than a single standard deviation above the mean in terms of how many assists they are awarded at home vs. the road:PIT +2.69GB +1.40MIA +1.29TEN +1.19SD +1.17NE +1.05And those one SD below the mean:KC -1.08JAX -1.55STL -1.74ATL -2.00A cursory glance over last week's box scores largely fits this characterization. Next time I'm torn between which lb to start, I'll certainly have a look at these data! Thanks again, Aaron!

Sorry, should have mentioned the stat I was using was the ratio of total assists home vs. away:

(assists awarded at home)/(assists awarded on the road)

Great stuff guys! I might want to add however, that Bryan Thomas has been omitted from the cheatsheets.
