Week 2 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Logan Payne - your next WR on SEA to have a(n) (apparantly) serious injury... knee. Just got hit on the knee hard with the helmet. Obviously too early to know much, but very early on, doesnt look good.

If you are a SEA WR, get insurance.

LT has his shoe off and Sproles is in the game... LT may have reinjured his toe.

ETA: Trainers are looking at his toe.

from Rotoworld:

Patrick Willis went to the locker room for X-rays on his injured right leg in the third quarter on Sunday and is not expected back in the game.A significant loss for the 49ers defense. Willis had seven tackles and had returned an interception 86 yards for a touchdown earlier in the third quarter.

from Rotoworld:

Joey Galloway left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with a sprained foot.No word yet on his status, but he's unlikely to return after catching just two passes for 18 yards before exiting.

He came back into the game, fyi.

Looked to me like Royal landed on the ball and got the wind knocked out of him. Probably didn't help that he got dogpiled by his own teammates after the play either.

Good news/bad news for Maroney owners...

The good news is he returned late and had a carry. The bad news is LaMont Jordan looked very good today.

Any word on Palmer's knee? Saw he injured on the FBG news log.

Just heard on Sirius that McFadden had a turf toe injury. Seems to have come from an interview after the game and thats why Bush came in to finish the game.

if you were a sea wr nobody would insure you.

from Rotoworld:

Sidney Rice will undergo an MRI Monday on the knee he injured in the Vikings' Week 2 loss.Rice left in the third quarter Sunday and didn't return. His backup is Bobby Wade. Rice's loss would be crushing for a passing attack that's stuck in mud.

Adrian Peterson comes off a little gimpy...
Surprised nobody cared about this...
Noboby cared because this was a post that definitely shouldn't be in the Week 2 Injury Thread. Looked like typical Peterson coming off the field, but a bit exagerated as this "gimpiness" occured after something like his 27th carry of the game.
So somebody deleted my "Thanks, Mrs. Crabapple" post. Nice work! So, I guess smart-### replies are allowed, but not smart-### replies to smart-asses. Got it. Then being serious for a minute, what are the rules exactly? If a player comes off limping, and is bending over on the sideline with a trainer, it is NOT post-worthy if he's had say, over 25 carries. Is that it? I should have known. Or wait, maybe there's a rule about not offending posters with top picks on their team. Good luck with Peterson this year, SayWhat?. And take a breath when you get a chance.

Anyone heard anything about MJD? I'm wondering if Greg Jones wouldn't be a nice pickup this week?!?!
