Week 2 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

And things are staying true to form. I had the right draft, the right players, the big week in week one. And now the collapse will begin.

Happens every single year.

 
feeling like a genius at the half for putting in peirre thomas for j stewart. (i also play deangelo) since ray rice was canceled. at the half stewart had 1 yd and thomas had 11.0 pts.

my dynasty team is going to be 0-2

not worried about start 0-2, long season. but these players are not doing anything. I guess it can not get worse

ok so i was down by ten going into the night game with fast willie and TO still left on my team and the other guy has santonio holmes. its a reasonable margin.

theres a minute left in the SD/DEN game and cutler fumbles the ball basically ending the game. but the refs screw up the call and the replay and cutler throws a TD and a two point conversion to Royal. the guy i'm playing has both of them. #$#@#$@#$#@%@$@^&*%&&*%

now im down by 33 points going into tonights game.

i want to stab ed hochuli

 
My opponnet needs Cutler to throw for 350 yds, another td, win the game and a 2 pts coversion to beat me by 1 pt!!!!

So that blown fumble call gives the Broncos the ball back at the 10!! which is the only way for Cutler to throw for exactly 350 yds, he gets the td, gets the 2pts conversion and the win, and my opponent wins by 1!!

If called correctly I win big.... even if they call it incomplete and the ball stays at the 2, Cutler throws a td, 2pt, whatever, I win,,, but NO....... they give Cutler the ball back at the exact yard line he needs to get 350 yds!!!!!!!

I lost last week on a tie with my opponent and he had the tiebreaker---- now this!!!

LT, anytime you'd like to start being LT again, that would be good.

I had Chris Chambers on the bench in one of my leagues.

And in 3 of my 4 leagues, I have yet to get any sort of double-digit play from my QBs! Thanks a lot Palmer and Bulger (last week) and Delhomme (this week)! :wall:

 
I had a phenomenal day. 2nd highest score in the league. Problem was that the guy I was playing has the highest. I have Fitzgerald, he had Boldin. Crazy. Also, I started Pennington over JT O'Sullivan (after going back and forth for 3 days).

Oh, and I took Tom Brady with my first pick (2 QB league) which is why I had to choose btw Chad and JT to begin with.

Tomorrow I have Witten and Felix Jones vs N. Folk, so I have a decent chance. Need 16+ points.

 
Thank you Jon Kitna for throwing not one but two interceptions for tds to the Packers D. I had my matchup won until the 2 garbage tds by the Packers defense. Now I need Westy to let loose tomorrow night.

 
Had Rodgers on the bench in both my money leagues. After all I'm set at qb with Big Ben and Brees. The good news is I"m ahead in both, but in one I'd have the weeks high score if I started him over Big Ben and the other I'd be cruising instead of sweating Westbrook having a big night. Of course I'd be fine there too if I'd started Schefler instead of Fasono.

Last week in the PPR league I run, I would have beaten the 3rd highest scoring team by 10+ points, but happened to play the highest scoring team & lost by 3.I scored 24 more points this week, in spite of LT & LJ at RB (Rodgers, Boldin, Cal John, Driver). I'll likely finish 20 points ahead of the 3rd highest scoring team. But the guy I'm playing had AP, Marshall (in PPR, ugh!), S Moss, GB Def. He still has Romo & Folk to go and only needs 6 pts to drop me to 0-2 with easily the highest scoring team in the league.Edit to add: If I had played the same 2 teams in opposite order I would have won both by 45+ points....nice!

Another blown first round pick.

Just once I'd like to have a stud running back from the first round. Just once.

Grabbed Royal (TE Buf) to all 3 leagues as either WR or TE and got fat 0.

Just one league, I had to drop Walter (which I grab by dropping Bruce. :goodposting: ) Mason and Daneils to pick up Lewis, Matt Jones and Royl costing me $6 and still got kick in behind by 45

 
Had Owen Daniels and Schaub, forced to bench them both.

Then Ed Hochuli took my 10 point lead and gave my opponent (Cutler and Royal) the win. And its to the biggest crap talker in the league. :lol:

LJ Smith is a useless tool. I lost on the last play of the game. We had LJ and Owens against Jackson. We were tied at 136.1, and the last completion to Jackson lost us the game. That sux.

I need to fire the pathetic person running my team

Knew I had a good team from the draft, IDP Dynasty nice mix of veterans and young talent, went WR, WR, WR, in first three rounds but got enough value in rb to help and good IDP's just had to get a handle on who to start at certain times.My first time in an IDP league. My bench outscores my starters 214 to 191 and if done completely right I would have laid 270+ on my opponent. Lucky for me my opponent put up 177

Lost 150.16 to 150.00, on the last Eagle offensive play, the 4 yard pass to DeShean Jackson to start the hook and ladder. Got a gift earlier when he gave away a TD, only to have suffer through the whole game to lose like that. 2d highest scoring team in my league this week. Lost week 1 by 2.74, 0-2 by a combined 2.90 points. Like to thank the Herminator for not giving LJ any love in the passing game.

 
Was scared off by the weather and benched Big Ben for Tarvaris (Tarvaris outscored him in week 1 anyway) - Big Ben outscores him by ten.

No worries though, the only way I get beat is if Westbrook goes off on MNF! Thanks Desean!!!!!

 
As a McNabb owner, DeSean Jackson's boneheaded move yesterday cost me four points which I critically needed to win over my opponent.

deSean, you are a real piece of ####.

 
Best values that dropped to me in the draft are going to be death of my fantasy squad -- LJ, Ronnie Brown, Holt -- and the guys I picked for upside -- Fargas, DWill, Sid Rice -- are nearly or are indeed unstartable. No real trade opportunities with this squad.

0-2, and facing a team this week with Brees, Royal, Jacobs, ADP, and Chris Johnson, so looking at cementing my space in the basement.

Won or have come in second for four consecutive years in my main money league. Guess it's going to be a long, long year for me fantasy-wise.

That the Raiders suck again this year isn't making it easier.

There. I feel better now. Serenity Now.
