Didn't seem like the best offensive play calling game by the Eagles. Several odd calls in the fourth/OT

ehh, i didn't follow this thread, but the Eagles lost this one on their own. The one on 4th down was a strange one, i thought it was a definite penalty watching it live, and it looked better on the replay. Doesn't happen often, but this one as soon as the throw was incomplete i knew it had to be a penalty. replay showed it wasn't that bad. 

but the Eagles have plenty of reason why they lost this game. Refs are like 8th or 9th on that list

I agree.  It was this and honestly just a brutal fail by graham on that 4th and 15.  I just can’t understand what defensive call could have been missed that didn’t involve him dropping back rather than just letting Taylor go.

i thought that vrabels 4th down call was surprising just from the usual conservatism standpoint.

but it kind of makes sense when you consider how long the fg was, being just 4th and 2, the amount of time left, and the fact that a td wins the game. I bet that was statistically a fairly comfortable call.

luckily early in the season. is there a time to lose some games, now is the time. Biggest worry though is the seeding in the playoffs, really can't see them getting 1st seed again
