Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports it appears like Denver Broncos WR Javon Walker (knee) will not be able to play during Week 4 due to a knee injury. Walker was not able to practice during the week because of the injury.

He suggests that Derrick Ward (ankle) may sit out the game, and Brandon Jacobs (knee) has a chance to play, but that goes against everything that's been written during the week in New York and indications from coach Tom Coughlin. If we had to guess, we'd still believe Ward will be active and start against the Eagles.

Be careful.IMHO, I think Clayton's pulling a CYA move. He's been talking against Ward all weekend (Friday on). I think he's trying to say he has inside scoop.If that's true, why would Coughlin have said what he said about Ward (resting rather than practicing) and should be a go?Until someone like Glazer chimes in, I'm not bailing on Ward for Rube. If you don't have other options due to the late game, well sorry - that does suck (and I have that situation in one league).
