It is not a foul if the defender is blocked (or fouled) into the passer and has no opportunity to avoid him."

No kidding. If you're going to call it really tight, fine. You can't call weak penalties in some cases but not others. (many others)

Because, playing in the AFC East, we’ve seen the refs keep Brady in games with lopsided calls so that he can stick around just long enough to get the come from behind win and keep the legend going for the last 20 years.
