Week 5 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

MJD strained wrist, his return is questionable. With the Jags up by 10 points and 11 minutes left in the 4th, I doubt we see MJD for the rest of the game. Deji Karim has been pounding the ball well against the Bills.

 
Report on Addai - questionable to return with a shoulder injury, but he has his jersey and pads off standing on the sideline.

 
It didn't look that bad -- appeared to be a concussion at first glance. But Addai did put his hands inside his collar like Vick did last week while laying on the ground.

Hart has been getting a lot of work since Addai left and just showed great effort on a TD run. I don't remember seeing Brown on the field.

Who is the pick up for Addai owners? Brown or Hart? I'm not sure how far out Brown is from playing. Any Indy guys out there?

He was gesturing widely (e.g., appeared to have normal range of motion) to Hart after his backup scored a TDPads off, yucking it up, no wrap, so doesn't seem at all serious
 
Foster

Texans coach Gary Kubiak revealed in his post-game press conference that Arian Foster "banged up" his knee just before halftime of Sunday's blowout loss to the Giants.

Kubiak said Foster "banged up his knee a little bit," but they're "hoping" he'll be OK. Still, this sounds like something that could threaten Foster's practice time, and potentially his playing status if the knee swells up. Foster had just one carry in the second half. The Texans' bye is in Week 7, so it's possible that they'll consider holding Foster out of Week 6 in order to give him two weeks of healing time. Stay tuned. Oct. 10 - 4:35 pm et

 
Aaron Rodgers concussed..Finley's hammy ligament popped out of place, maybe out a week or so..

Edit..1-3 weeks for Finley..

Dez Bryant hobbled off possible ankle?

ETA: REPLAY showed Finnegan rolled up on the same one he hurt in preseason; trying to walk it off

Derek Anderson in for Max Hall after a hard hit. Hall "had the wind knocked out of him" and is expected to return in the second half.

Huge loss for Bradford and the Rams. Amendola (obvious to most) is the pickup (if not already rostered). Should slid right into Clayton's role (w/o the deep play ability of Clayton). JMO Gibson/Robinson are fodder. Rams really need to look to upgrade either with Jackson now or this offseason in draft/trade.

"Packers TE Jermichael Finley has an MRI on his knee scheduled for tomorrow, but initial diagnosis is that all ligaments appear intact."

 
Info on Clay Matthews who was taken out of the game and had his thigh wrapped and iced. What is that, a hammy?

 
Desean Jackson on the sidelines sitting out with his leg elevated this series. Nothing readily identifiable on the reply. Looks to have a slight limp.

* QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion in overtime and coach Mike McCarthy had no further update. Rodgers didn't speak after the game, so it's impossible to know how bad it is. He will have to go through the usual battery of tests to play against the Miami Dolphins. * TE Jermichael Finley suffered a hamstring ligament injury. Finley said he's done it before. It just kind of popped out of place a little bit. Depends when it relaxes and goes back to normal. Could be a one day injury, or a couple weeks. He will have tests on Monday. Likely out at least a week. * TE Donald Lee, I'm told, had some sort of stinger injury to his shoulder but should be fine in the short term. Could be ready for Miami. * LB Clay Matthews did not have problems with cramps or anything, his hamstring got tight on him and he may have had a slight pull. He does not think it's as bad as the previous injury from Family Night when he missed a month. It is the same hamstring that keeps giving him problems (left). Likely out at least a week to be on the safe side. * DE Ryan Pickett said the x-rays were negative on his ankle but he's not sure what is wrong and the ankle is a problem. He could not have gone back into the game. May be a few weeks for him. * S Derrick Martin is again battling the same ankle he had off-season surgery on. He was on crutches and obvious pain. His might be the most serious. * LB Frank Zombo had his knee looked at during the game. Not sure whether it will linger.

any update any of the Colts RBs? Any way Mike Hart is the only active one this week. need a BYE week fill-in and trying to determine whether to use waiver priority on him.
