The whole point is to go up 21 IN CASE YOU DON'T SCORE AGAIN. How are you supposed to take them when you need them when the whole reason for going for two is to be up 3 TDs if you don't score again.
Take the points? Does he REALLY think the Giants are going to score two touchdowns and kick two field goals in 8 minutes?

Well, had the Browns' conversion failed, they could have gotten 2 TDs, 2 2 pt conversions, and 1 FG to tie. Kicking the extra point would have required the Giants to score 3 TDs to win.

Down by 21 wit 6:30 left and they are taking their time?
slotmike adams or terry cousins on him so Gmen keep taking that and get a few yards. IMO They were settling and could have tried for something more on several of those.

BIGGER part of this game was Winslow out of this game - I've been saying his blocking this year has been nonexistent.
Ironic that the season turned around for the Giants last year when they lost a TE who took plays off and pouted.

The big difference I saw from this game and this game only and last year with DA, were the pre-snap reads. DA really did a good job of knowing what the defense was gonna give him. The second biggest thing I saw was throwing the short pass with good touch and accuracy. That's pretty important given the early game plan was using the short pass to counter the Giant pass rush.
Quinn is only gonna see garbage time this year unless DA gets hurt or really stumbles.I honestly wanted to come on here and give the whole don't count the Browns out, they are finally getting healthy speil, but I didn't want to jinx anything. They looked even better than I thought, and will be even healthier in the next couple of weeks.

I think you have to go back to 1994 week 15, when the Belichick Browns went into Texas Stadium and defeated the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Cowboys 19-14, to find a bigger win. This was huge.

Ugh. I didn't expect Big Blue to get physically dominated like that.
Jacobs didn't get the ball enough and Eli made mistakes. Couple that with no pressure at all on defense and Browns just beat them up. This is the kind of game that would have had me throwing things at the TV cursing the ground that Coughlin walks on if not for last year. Now, it's just one bad game. Regroup and beat the snot out of the 9ers and then enter that rough 3 week schedule with only 1 loss. I would have signed for that at the beginning of the season.
