Week 6 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Devastating for Puka man, not feeling good with that
Didn’t see it. And can’t tell from the comments in here if serious or not.
There wasn't any clear mechanism from what I saw. In fact when he first went down I thought he got the wind knocked out of him.

Hard not to speculate but it could be everything from getting kicked or stepped on to something internal and far more dreadful

Hope he comes back, and you never know, but Puka holds the record for "oh crap that's real bad, and then coming back and going 9-130-2"

Pre game Anthony Richardson injury was due to a stretching band breaking in the locker room and injuring his eye (also reports of a concusion). He was taken to the hospital.

Gabrial seems to be leading receivers into major hits. Larvadain, the last one, looks to be headed for concusion evaluation.

Njoku also beat up - last I saw he was headed for the locker room.

Egbuka doubtful return (hamstring)

Worst injury season ever. And I’ve been playing FF over 20 years.
Its terrible. They don’t make em the way they used to. I didn’t even see how he could have got hurt because SF ate up half the 3Q after the second half KO than they showed him on the sideline with his helmet on with a short yardage play during Bucs first second half possession now he is doubtful 😡😡😡

Puca down, doesn't look too serious
Scott Hanson acting like it's serious
he would if it was a chipped toenail.
IMO - I believe the newest "soft" cleats are causing most of the foot issues. The shoes are too flexible and instead of absorbing some of the impact energy they are allowing it to be transferred into the feet forcing the foot to flex abnormally.

In the Puca case - Try kicking a wall with a stiff shoe on and then do it again with your bare foot. At least that what it looked like in the video. First it was called a foot injury and then an ankle - might be both?

Njoku down, hit in the mid-section...
Came back in, then left towards end of the game, walked to the locker room early. Didnt look awful, but could be out 1-2 weeks with contusion type injury.

they have a bye in week 8, so sit week 7, get a nice time to recover and be ready for week 9.
Reported that he wasnt bad today, but the pain might take time to set in, esp if they got him on pain meds/anti-inflammatories.

YOU SONOVA! I'm now at Ace Hardware getting a drywall repair kit, and limping all over the store because of you. Next time, keep your sick twisted experiments to yourself.
