Week 6 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

yup. worst l4th 1/4 possible. (opp LT, Minn D and Romo/williams, gore)

add to that that I tradede detroit d (after failing to get sea d in a trade b/c owner wouldnt start l moore) for KC D (losing 8 points in the process)

now I need a redonkulus day out of mjd to salvage it.

i had maclin and megatron on the bench, played cutler instead of shaub....now down 20 in ppr and have d clark and torain left......of fantasy football god save me for i know not who to start.....

Austin and Nicks ruined me in two leagues today. And in one of those leagues I benched Calvin Johnson. Crap... I'll be shocked if I win my game. I'm up by 24 and he has Addai and Scobee left. Figures I've put up massive points in that league all year and this is the week all my players decide to tank it.

best worth 10.that is my highlight.i had hicks, austin, amendola and moeki.i sat cooley and collie for those 2!!!!

who the hell starts someone with the last name as moeki.oh yea i benched rodgers to play orton!!! denver decides to run the ball as well as dallas.wtf.

i guess my rule is never bench your primary players.wont happen again.im have a total of 44 points only due to i get bonus points for long kicks that prater did.

Started rivers,Floyd, and gates. Down by 24 and going up against manning and addai. I sill have MJD and CJ left, but it's not looking good. FML

How am I 1-5 with this line up?

Romo

Gore

Bradshaw

Austin

Nicks

M. Williams (Tampa)

Keller

Folks

SD-d/st

At least I wasn't the #2 scorer this week-I have had two loses this year playing the top scoring team.

Lost 21 pts by not starting Ryan over Bradford, Gaffney over Amendola, and Charles over Best.

Down by 2 with S. Moss going against Vinateri.

Edit: put stafford instead of bradford

Wayne, Moss, Welker, Bradshaw, McCoy, ZMiller = no TDs. Opponent has Jacobs, who vultures 2 of Bradshaw's TDs. I lose by less than a TD. To a team that Yahoo and FBG projected me to beat by 30+ points ;)

After starting 2-0, go 1-3 in my last 4. Out of playoff position despite being league high scorer. Hating this game right now. ;)

DeSean Jackson out indefinitely with a concussion. Malcolm Floyd out with a hamstring injury. Combined with Mark Clayton's injury last week and Pierre Garcon's bye next week I hope I can scrounge up some decent WR production somewhere.

Playing an 0-5 team this week and my team laid an egg.

Best - thanks for your 16 yards rushing

Austin catches just 2 passes

Playing against Matt Ryan and he throws 2 TDs and none go to my guy Roddy White

Due to byes, my opponent had to start Brandon Jacobs.....guess what.....Jacobs scores 2 TDs

I own Percy Harvin, and he scores on special teams.

David Akers misses 3 FGs.

SD D gets me 3 points and can't cause ONE turnover against the Rams?

It's not going to be my year.

I've never had a team that no matter who I bench at WR, they score 20+ every single week.
Please send me your lineup every week so I know who to play. :homer: Actually have the same problem. (grrrrrs at my bench)In my main keeper league:OrtonNicksR MossAJA BradshawL McCoyGatesKDefGoing down with a loss and one of the lower scores in the league this week. After this week, I will have the 2nd highest points total in the league and a 2-4 record. On my bench:Mike Williams (Sea)Pierre Garconeven Braylon Edwards would have been an improvementand Danario Alexander who I would not have started regardless in his first week

I'm 0-6. I have the 3rd most points in my league. This is the 4th week Ive finished with the 2nd highest score. I actually went from 4th most points to 3rd most points this week and lost again to a guy who had less points than me before this week.

Sometimes you can eliminate all the risk in the world and create an awesome team and it means nothing if the schedule just doesnt work in your favor. :homer:

me:

Nicks

Greene

Amendola

Bears D

my opponent:

DJax

Jacobs

SJax

Andre Johnson

Tony Gonzalez

Steelers D

I've now set the league high score and low score for the year, gonna drop to 2-4 and ninth place

Between Boldin, Hightower, Greene, and now Nicks, somebody on my team is guaranteed to get less than 1 pt every week. I'd love to know what it feels like to get at least 8-10 pts from every skill position

Rivers- poor for him

M Bush- blah

H Nicks- 8yds

M Austin-2 catches

Z Miller-2 catches

saving grace:

J Maclin

Believe it or not i'm still have a slight chance to win because I have Tenn D tonight and if they give me a few sacks, a couple turnovers and maybe a TD I will win. I'm 5-0 so I'm ok with everyone having a bad week and bouncing back next week when I have some gents back from Bye's.

Orton/Vick

CJ/Turner/Mendenhall

CJ/Colston

Clark

Steelers

Gould

Somehow this team is 2-4. Second highest points in the league, but somehow, every week, I find a way to get screwed over. I have two losses simply because both Kolb and Vick have given me 0 points in different weeks.

Any change CJ gets 25 tonight?

starting nicks, wayne and austin as my three receivers, burleson and mike wallace sitting on the bench pretty - not that i'd not do it the same way next week, but kinda frustrating - need a monster of a game from mjd now

Every one of my starters, except for a player I shall not name for fear of a voodoo hex, has dealt with an injury this year...only one of them has been able to play through this injury without any impact.

Headed for a W, then got caught by a rule we put in a few years ago for "mail it in" owners. If a player is official out by the 1pm kickoffs the next best player from the bench will be inserted. Out goes Chris Chambers and his finger - who my opponent admits he knowingly put in his lineup, in goes Devin Hester and his punt return. My easily overcome 2pt MNF deficit is no 21 points! And all I have is the Titans D. I love this game sometimes.

Third highest scoring team and I am staring at 1-5 now!

In my main $$ league i'm having the kind of year that makes you want to quit FF (ok, not really but it is frustrating). The average score for our league each week is 105 points. My team has scored an average of 109 over the first 6 weeks. It's not like it is a juggernaut, i'll give you that, but it's clearly not a bottom feeder either. Yet amazingly, my opponents have averaged 135 points this year! It's unreal, every week I face the team that goes off. Foster's monster week 1? Yep, faced him. Schaub's big week 2? You guessed it. Surely I didn't face Vick in week 3 when he lit it up? Um, yeah I did. Week 4 was the first week i didn't face a 40 player in our league's format, I merely faced 2 - 30 point players in Owens and Gates and then 3 more 20+ point players giving my opponent 175 points. This week my opponent came with 4 players scoring 20+ and 2 more hitting 15, 140 points and the high score for the week, of course. I've now faced the high scoring team 3 times and the 2nd high scoring team twice. Amazingly i'm 2-4 thanks to Best's monster week 2 and another fluke win. My points against are 812, only 1 team in our league has scored 700 points themselves (708) and no other team has 700 points against. It's a cruel joke, but i'm trying to be positive, it can't keep up right?

This coming week my opponent has Peyton on a bye, DJax and Floyd likely out hurt and he already lost Finley. If he puts up 140+ on me I might just lose it.

In my main (money) league, my teams done for the week but my opponent still has some MNFers. Looks like I'm going to lead my league in most points scored on the season. And in most points against. And be 2-4. This is the most depressed I've been since BP left us coachless, which I thought was rock bottom.

Same premise here except make my team 3rd highest scoring out of 10 and 0-6 instead. I watch other people play against guys who score 80-110 and I get the guy who scores 220. Every week. Un freakin real. And I have Foster and still lost in that first week.

I feel both of you... I'm only 5th (out of 12) in pts scored, but in this league, everyone is bunched up in the top half of the league; I only trail the #1 pts scorer by 36 pts. I'm 1-5 (finally got off the schneid for my first win week 6). I am the leader in pts scored against. I've thrown up 2 stinker weeks, didn't deserve to win, but those are the kind of weeks it seems that I've been able to luck out a win n the past. The only thing keeping me sane is knowing EVERY team in this league has a weakness of some sort, and the league champ 3 years ago started 1-6, snuck into the playoffs & won the whole thing. It was a similar scenario--no really dominant teams, he led league in pts scored against the first half of the season, but was scoring fairly well, actually had enough impact players (like I do) to give hope. I have guys like Rodgers/Orton, Mendy, Maclin, Tampa Mike, Ward; and I keep waiting on Mathews to get going for the Chargers.... IF Mathews takes over, I feel like I still have a shot.

To further illustrate, my league average score per game for all teams in 134.5. The lowest anyone has scored on me all year is 149. Ive gone below the league averaged 1 time at 130 pts. I don't think I could have more astronomical odds against me to this point. The only hope is that it can't possibly keep going this way. Eventually it has to even itself out.

Watch this terrible ####### MNF game to be winning by 6 pts till the last 1:40 left and CJ who shouldnt be in the ####### game runs it in from 35 yds out on a 4th and 5, I have bironas... why not kick a field goal WTF!@!!@!@#!@#!@#!@

F'in amazing. Lose by 2.1 because VY gets knocked out of the game then the idiotic Jaguars call timeout with under 2 minutes to go down by 20 and CJ busts off a TD run on 4th and 5. What a joke.

I just lost by .12 points because of that meaningless TD run. WTF is CJ even in the game. WTF is Del Rio doing calling timeouts there? Gut-wrenching loss  :hot: :wall: :banned: :lmao: :lmao:

I have the most points in the league and a 40 point lead going into tonight. Most weekly points scores $100. My opponent has Chris Johnson and Tenn defense. I lose by 2 points on that bs run by Johnson. You just need to tackle him ONE MORE TIME. THEY'RE GOING TO RUN. Jesus Christ. And awesome job on offense Jaguars!

And why was he still in the game? Padding his stats? RAAAAAAGE! I'm now 2-4. I watch that entire game holding my breath because CJ might break off a run. And as soon as I think I've won and there's no possible way they'd run him on 4th down. I let my gaurd down and...ugh

WORDS DON'T EXPRESS.

All I needed was 6.45 measly points from Sims-Walker to win this week. In our scoring system (10 rec. yards / pt. + PPR) that's as little as 2 catches for 45 yards.

Garrard goes down and Edwards looks to his RBs and Mike Thomas all night who has 8 catches, Sims-Walker finished with 2 catches for 18 yards.

I played Gates (thanks for the 3 points...) and I started Mike Bush over Felix Jones in the Flex this week.

Even so, I was up 40.1 going into tonight and my opponent had CJ2K, Bironas, and the Titans D.

Even as bad as the JAX offense is (seriously? that's supposed to be an NFL team out there?) and the 18 points they gave up to the Titans D, I was winning by .1 until that garbage TD. To add insult to injury, not only am I now 1-5, I had a bottle of scotch on the line as a side bet.

Screw you, Jeff Fisher. Screw You, Jacksonville offense. Screw you, Chris Johnson. DIE DIE DIE

Went against CJ in one league ans TEN "D" in the other. INT in the end zone lost me one game, CJ 35 yard TD run lost me the other.

Faced the Bowe owner .. needed 4 points from Scobee got 3 after putting up a MONSTER game last week. Get the TD at the end ... don't fumble at the half ... and I win. Wow.

Went into the night with MJD + 17 pts versus Marcedes Lewis & The Titans D.

Horrible first 3 quarters had me down 1, and then MJD got some touches and ended up putting me up a few, trimmed down to .52 on that Underwood dropped TD (which would have also wiped out points for the Defensive bonus)

So the Titans start killing the clock, and who knows, maybe I'll emerge with my .52 win, and stay undefeated.

But NO! Del Rio starts calling his timeouts under the 2 minute warning. Chris Johnson doesn't take a knee. And sure enough, just as I predicted when the Titans took the ball with 6:00 to go....Edwards gets it back.....takes a sack......and I lose.

Regardless I only scored 116 pts. My average is 140 a week. I should blame things other than that annoying sack. Things like Miles Austin. Randy Moss. MJD himself. My Packers D and their 2 points. Rackers and his XPs.

Moving on. 5-1, still a 2 game lead in the division.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Lost by 9 points! Scored a total of 262 whereas my average is 300 points. I had prepared myself for a loss when Gates and Floyd were injured mid-game which also hurt Rivers. (started all 3) Had only one gotten hurt I probably would have still won. uuughh! 4-2 and now there is a 4-way tie for first place.

MJD... what the ____? It's not actually MJD, it's the play calling. I know they were down and had to throw to get back in the game (even though I think they would've been better off just running it with Trent Edwards under center). But what about when they were on the 1 and a half yard line, knew they had to go for it on 4th down, and throw an incompletion on both, when they could've just punched it in with MJD. Lost me my game this week. Thanks whatever bum is Jacksonville's OC.

I lost by 8, had Lewis and he had CJ. BTW, heard on the radio that the ESPN officials went to Del Rio and asked him to use those TO's so they could have more commercial time. I blame ESPN, those mother#&^%$#@.
