Week 6 Waiver Wire pickups (1 Viewer)

Nate Burleson (at least until his inevitable season-ending injury 3 weeks from now)

Brandon Jackson (if he was dropped)

The thing that worries me about Steve Johnson is that Buffalo's schedule is brutal for the next several games (plus next week is a bye), so he'll be a super risky play but if you're in a deep league he may be worth a look.

I have Mark Clayon on my FF team. It sounds like he may be lost for the season. Which Rams WRs are most likely to benefit in his absence? And why?

Amendola has the steam but he's just a slot guy . . .Robinson has the speed, so I'd go with him - although Gibson (possession receiver) will get looks . . .translation : of lot of mediocrity spread around - look for the Rams to draft a WR in the first two rounds in 2011 OR sign a key FA at WR . . .

Kenny Britt if hes avalaible. Was avaliable in my legaue and accroding to CBS only owned in 30 % of leagues . He has scored in 3 straight weeks and had a 80 yard TD this week that they overturned on replay and called him down at the 20 but it was that close. Cowboy player barley touched him.

i think they now become a very sensible landing spot for a vjax trade. still well in the mix for their division, and not a team that the chargers have to worry about coming back to bite them.

Amendola is the only Rams WR worth investing in as a PPR guy.

Gibson/L-Rob are very unimpressive. And they'll be replace very soon. (So they don't have much redraft/dynasty value)

What about Mike Thomas from the Jaguars? Is he worth a look?
Been back and forth on Thomas all year. He's a solid talent, and FBG's were high on him preseason and into the first few weeks in terms of his Top 200 Forward ranking. The Jags may be rebalancing and getting their act together, but they still seem relatively up and down and as such I don't see a lot of dependability in the contributions of a guy like Thomas. MSW will get his share of targets and catches, and while Thomas may have a decent game here and there, I don't think I would count on him week in and week out.So while Thomas may be good for bye week depth, I can't see him as a reliable fantasy flex starter.Would love others' thoughts on this as well.

I went ahead and dropped Demaryius Thomas for this guy since DThomas keeps having issues getting hurt and has too much competition from other dependable WR's. I figure he may be worth a flex since he keeps getting fed the ball a good bit and the Jags will typically be playing from behind or in close games.

amendola if he is somehow still there.
:goodposting:
What about the other STL receivers? Do any of them have a chance and if so, after Amendola, which one?
I don't think any of them are really that great and to be honest, I don't know a ton about Amendola. What I do know is that Bradford seems to like based on the 19 targets that he got yesterday. He seems to be the WR to own in that offense now that Clayton is done.Just looked at his pic....he's a shorter white guy....think Wes Welker/Austin Collie.

No one...sit back and wait for some quality players to get dumped.
Yeah, at this point in the season sometimes the best move is to sit tight and wait for someone else to panic.
well if thats the play, which players are you looking to snatch if someone panics? :lmao:
Depends on your league size, scoring, etc.For example, Reggie Bush was dropped this weekend in our ppr league. With short benches and no IR spots, we might have some other owners get impatient with guys who are underperforming. I just think you are more likely to find value in that scenario rather than the guys you hope will be the ones who blow up after being completely off the radar.

I thought all dropped players after waivers are processed are FCFS?
Depends on the league, but in all my leagues those players dropped as part of the waiver process go through a second round waiver process. Those who were passed on during waivers are FCFS, as are those who are dropped to add a non-waiver player.

In my leagues, everyone who is dropped goes through the WW process.
