Week 8's Perfect Fantasy Team
QB: Tom Brady is always the perfect quarterback, so here's the Brady fact of the week: His rating through seven games is 137.9. The NFL record is 121.1 by Peyton Manning in his record-breaking 2004 season.
RB: Willie Parker has rushed for 130 or more yards three of the last four times the Steelers have faced the Bengals, and those came when Cincinnati's defense was considered only a little below average. He'll get well over 150 yards with two TDs this week.
RB: Marshawn Lynch has been overshadowed by Adrian Peterson in the rookie runner of the year race, but he'll grab the headlines this week by lighting up the Jets' third-worst rushing defense.
WR: Kevin Curtis already had the game of his life against the Lions, so we're not touting that when the Eagles face the Vikings, but with nine different receivers reaching the end zone against the purple and gold in six games, there's an excellent chance that Philly's top pass catcher will too.
WR: Plaxico Burress has been the league's best receiver this side of Randy Moss and Moss lit up this secondary for two jump-ball TDs and over 100 yards last week in South Florida. Burress scores three times in the shadow of Buckingham Palace.
TE: For the first time in his career, Antonio Gates plays with a top-notch receiver, Chris Chambers, which should create even more room in coverage for him to ramble against the Texans.
K: Lawrence Tynes, the first Scottish-born NFL player crosses the pond to boot the Giants to a big win against the winless and Ronnie Brown-less Dolphins.
