Week 9 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

LJ owner and NOT wishcasting. That looked friggin' bad. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
Not an owner here, but seeing that injury made me cringe. It looked like his mid-foot crumpled under him. I'd be surprised if it isn't a fracture or the dreaded Lis-Franc sprain or fracture.

I must be missing this...I watched that NFL.com link and it really just looked like a rolled up ankle. Maybe I am just being too optimisitc.

Pure Speculation here--The Nfl.com replay isn't a very good replay to watch IMO. The telling part of the replay for me is when it shows his foot/ankle come out from under Hawk's body (the nfl.com replay doesn't show this far into the replay) I replayed the play at least 10 times on my DVR and the foot/ankle looks to be at unnatural angle (as its coming out of the turf and Hawk's body) in relation to his leg and looks to be "dangling", it looks as if the foot did not spring back to its normal position, similar to a broken ankle if you've ever seen one.I'm hoping for the best, but I just don't feel good about this one.

Larry Johnson-RB- Chiefs Nov. 5 - 1:01 am et

The Kansas City Star's Jason Whitlock expects Larry Johnson (ankle) to miss at least one game.

Johnson was fitted for a protective boot and needed crutches to get around after Sunday's loss to Green Bay. He was unable to walk, and his injury looked ugly when it happened. Priest Holmes appears likely to start against the Broncos in Week 10, with rookie Kolby Smith getting a few touches.
