Week 9 "Waiver Wire DST" (1 Viewer)

Chris Liss tweeted a few days back about how teams should start their backup against the Gigantes D. Looks like Pete Carroll listened!
I was actually thinking of this without knowing of the tweet. It is a great strategy to bench your starting QB vs NYG. Let your backup get beat up, and then have your starter healthy the rest of the year, makes perfect sense.Heck, even if it wasn't done in purpose, I am sure Hass is a happy man knowing he wont have to play Sunday vs Giants

HELP!!!!!!! Right now I have the Raiders in, but with Asomugha probably out, that doesn't seem like such a great option. Other D's on my WW are:

Sea home to Giants

Cards on the road @ Minn

Pats@ Clev (might be best option)

Bucs @ Atl

KC@ Oak

Colts @ Phi

Car home to NO

Bengals home Pitt

Bills home Bears

Sea is tough at home, Giants good offense. Cards on the road don't thrill me, Bills scare me VS ANYONE.....is NE the play here? Do I stick with the Raiders??? HELP PLEASE!!!!

Bills

The Bills cant stop ANYBODY...........The Bears coming off a bye week won't be a pushover...Bills are amoung the worst Def's in the NFL. What makes you think they'll be viable??? This isn't even a real home game, it's in toronto, where there will be a large number of bears fans. Thanks for your opinion, but I couldnt live with myself starting the Bills, thats just over analyzing to me.

The Ravens are actually available in my league, as they are actually among the lowest scoring fantasy defenses this year. They were dropped after the debacle a few weeks back at home vs BUF, followed by a bye week.

Is there any chance Ed Reed gets closer to 100% and makes a difference? Or is this defense just not what it used to be?

They host Miami this week.

Relax...stick with the Raiders. It will be an old fashioned low scoring slugfest. I am starting Raider D, and KC D would be good too imo. I don't care what FBG's ranks teams like Buffalo. I don't believe in bad teams.

They sure didn't give up much in 75 minutes to the Chiefs on the road last week?

I had similar options, and ended up going with Seattle for two reasons:1) They're playing at home, and have averaged 20 PPG there. The Giants, in my league at least, have given up the 11th most PPG to defenses.2) They play Arizona next week, so you're getting next weeks big WW pick up early

Asomugha probably won't play because of an ankle injury... Which makes the Raiders D a lot less attractive... If Asomugha is out, I think the Patriots defense is a safer play.
