Wes Welker (1 Viewer)

Will it be the Randy Moss show or will Brady spread the ball around? Is weather a factor to consider this week?

Dont see how Welker is even a sit canidate unless you are stacked. Snow continues to fall in Boston (as I waste away at Logan Airport) and from what I am seeing here on local news, the bad weather is supposedly supposed to come in on Saturday.

WIDE RECEIVERS -- START 'EM

Wes Welker (vs. MIA): Weather could obviously impact this game as it did last week for the Patriots against the Jets, but Welker should still be successful against his former team. The first time these teams met in Miami earlier this year Welker had nine catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns. I doubt Tom Brady will have two bad games in a row, and the same goes for Welker and his fellow wide receivers.

 Pats trying to go undefeatedBrady needs five TD's to set the record.Miami is awful and has their win for the year, so they are going to roll over the rest of the way. Welker is good for 15 receptions 211 yards and 3 TDs. . Guaranteed

I've got Welker and Watson, he's got Moss. I've been checking the weather forecast and it's looking like pretty good football weather. Cold, but no precipitation. I'm watching the Watson situation closely. Unfortunately, I have to make my decision by the noon games because my other option is Utecht.

I thought in the last outing Brady would be passing short and Welker would blow up but I was way wrong...and it got me the win. I was playing the Brady owner.

Welker is a must start for me as my options are limited but I have ultimate confidence in him and the Pats. Tom just needs to keep those passes short and not shoot for the Moss home run!

I've heard three different weather reports . . .

One says 50-55 and steady, heavy rain.

One says 45-50 and light rain/drizzle.

One says 50 and 20% of rain.

I'll take 50/1 to make up for keeping White LIghtning in over Holmes last night.I think this will be a game where the Pats impose their will and make whoever they want to score, score. That means 2 for Moss, 2 for Welker, and another thrown in to ensure the TD record for Brady. Just like they made sure Moss had 4 on the same day that TO did, they'll feed the ball to Wes against his former team and undefeated forerunner.

Wind is the main, and really only concern here IMO. New England has played one great game in their last four. I fully expect the Pats to come out and dominate Miami if the weather cooperates and they can play through snow or rain; it's the wind that slows their passing game. Let's not forget that they scored 42 points in the first half against Miami the first time they played.

Midway through the third quarter, laser beams will shoot from Welker's eye sockets vaporizing Cam Cleeland, effectively eliminating Parcell's newly acquired coaching conundrum. Then Welker will give Wayne Huizinga (sp?) a roundhouse kick to the face for good measure.

It seems as though Welker's production has diminished the last few weeks with increased looks and production from Gaffney
