Yes, I am talking about the steroid usage in professional sports. I remember when records in baseball were set by guys who only consumed beer and hot dogs. As a long time fan of the sport I feel cheated. The records that these guys set should be put on hold or not count at all. No respect is being shown towards the legends of the game. I found a video that goes perfect with this topic. This video that depicts how fans feel towards players who are using steroids. NSFW - some fould language.

I don't think there are any more cheating liars in sports than there are in our everyday life. I expect there will always be people trying to cheat. I like to hear about it every so often....it lets me know that they really want to win.

You do understand that cheating has been part of the game for a long long time. Cheating just did not start in the steroid era.You can go to the 70's and 80's with amphetamines.

And can we say without out a doubt that earlier generations of baseball or any sport did not have any type of steroid that they were using??

What about keeping the professional Negro League players from MLB. You can pick apart any generation if you look close enough.

Pretty much. They were talking today about how the fans just ate the game up when McGuire and Sosa were doing their thing. I'm not exonerating them and I'm sure you aren't either but a lot of people are without looking at baseball history and not waiting for more cards to fall in this. I think you can bet about half the guys were using something in the steroid era.
