What a horrible, awful week for RB's (1 Viewer)

Virtually every top RB came up short this week.

Barely any RB scored over 20 points in any of my leagues. Marcel Reece seems to be the top scorer with about 23 points in PPR.

Just awful.

Its been a terrible year for RB's and this week summarized their futility.

Started Martin and Spiller. No complaints.

Will have to replace old man Willis with Hillman. My bench is FJax and Mendy. Not feeling great about the stretch run.

Shady went down, Rice never got started, Foster did't exploit a good matchup - I see the OP is correct in the main. But it's hardly news that nobody drafted a Top 3 RB and is riding into the playoffs on a 2K-20TD season. Gotta work hard and adapt to the shifting trends. This is not a stud back league anymore, and hasn't been for awhile.

played Foster, BJGE, Reece. Had Mendenhall, Ballard, Beanie, and Lynch on the bench.

Foster fumbled and only averaged 2.8 a carry on Sunday with no TDs. Houston came out throwing on the Jags defense early and often so I'm hoping that its just a blip on the radar. Houston schedule looks great and the only thing Im worried about is if Houston decided to limit Foster once playoff position is locked up.

At this point in the year it's all about match ups. Names mean nothing if the match up is brutal and the last few weeks dont offer consistent production trends (like Layne wrote)

Up until last year a starting-quality RB could always be found on the wire at some point during the season, where finding the same in a WR was a bit difficult. Since last year it has completely flopped the other way.

In my one redraft league I've been rolling with Shady, Ryan Mathews, and Ahmad Bradshaw. That should give you a clue as to how bad my season is going. After the draft I thought for sure I'd be in the championship. Uhhhhh...negative.

I thought I was screwed this weekend with my dynasty with Lynch and ADP out on bye. I had to roll with Marcel Reece and Shane Vereen but they ended up giving me 30+. Add to that the Andre Johnson explosion and I put up another W and am rolling into the playoffs.

I was pretty surprised when the yahoo recap told me that Spiller's 13 points were good for the #7 running back this week.
