I just want to hear some opinions.You can't argue QB situation because this year can ONLY be better than last year.He now has a legitimate running game, or at least along the lines of the QB situation. It can ONLY get better this year.

More run oriented, less pass attempts.White isn't really all that good of a receiver, and some of the other receivers will probably emerge to take away a number of his reps.

No, I really underestimated Ryan, and thought that they would be far more run oriented, and overestimated Laurent Robinson, who I thought would step up a lot more than he did.

What about underestimating Roddy White? You said "White isn't really all that good of a receiver".

Roddy White was definitely a guy I thought wrong about, not afraid to admit it. Can't be right about everyone, and I think Matt Ryan's quick development has really shot up White's value. Props/Kudos that got this guy as their WR2/3...you now are getting top10 numbers often enough to be very happy.

And on a sidenote...good for the fans of Atlanta, looks like you have a franchise QB...he was making throws on Sunday that were lasers, I watched most of the game, very impressive all the way around. Outside shot at the playoffs? Have to at least talk about it right now.

I took White as my WR4 (start 3 WR league) behind Marshall, Holmes & Cotch (took VJax later).. Roddy has been a godsend. Obviously, he didn't go very high because of having a rookie QB, and the logical assumption Atl would only pound the rock, regardless of score, to protect Ryan. Props to those who have admitted they were way off base about Roddy. I'm happy I was lucky that he fell to me, because I thought pretty much the same things; I saw White as a value pick where I got him. I wasn't seeing him as a top 20, much less top 10 guy.
