What Do You Need Monday Night Thread -- Week Five (1 Viewer)

Main league....T.O. and Witten to pile up some points 'cause I've already won!

Second league...12 points(performance league) from Witten and Lynch...looks good! :X

Third league....1 catch or 2 yards from Lee Evans.....

Break out the good china honey!

League 1: Have TO and down 14. 3 pts bonus for over 100. Good chance of 120 or 90 and 1 td

League 2: Have TO and Witten and down 31. TD is 5 points but 10 if 40 and over. Chance. 3 tds from them along with 170 combined.

League 3: Have TO and down 27 and othe has Dal K. no chance. I was 4-0 too. :hophead:

He's got Romo and Barber III. I've got Crayton and a 16 point lead.

Even though qb pass tds are only worth 4, things are looking pretty bleak for me.

Figure 300 and 3 tds for Romo = 24; Barber about 60/20/1 td = 14. No way Crayton scores 22.

On the other hand if Romo is held in check or if it is a blow out, then barber's numbers go up and I am still screwed.

I won in my other league though...so I'll take it. Unless Ken Hamlin makes up 11 points plus whatever Folk scores tonight.

Up by 50....I have Folk and he has Dallas Def. As long as Buffalo's offense shows up, I should walk away happy.

1.7pts from Julius Jones to tie, so 17 yards or a TD. I'll be here tomorrow if I lose, real mad.

This would be a win with Pennington (Palmer bye), Keith (Addai out), Jones (APeterson bye), Roddy (Chad Johnson bye) getting the nod....and ROY/Cotchery sucking.

And if I didn't trade JLewis and Holmes for ROY and JJones two weeks ago, I'd have already lost.

14 points out of Nick Folk. Damn you, Santonio!

In order to curry favor, I'll be watching the game while listening to "All-time Favorite American Folk Songs" on repeat. If it comes down to it, I'll also throw an episode of "Queer as Folk" in the split screen.

Any further suggestions for improving my chances through voodoo will be gratefully accepted.

Marion Barber to declare his manlove for John Madden and run off with him allowing Julius Jones to take all the snaps.

I need Witten & Folk to outscore MBIII by 8.5

This is possible in our receiving heavy league.

I checked out the season and this exact scenario would have been in my favor in weeks 1, 3 & 4. Week 2 Barber outscored them both.

8 touchdowns from Jones and 7 FGs from Folk to offset the worst week I've ever had in my league.

I remain hopeful.

League 1: For Romo and the Dallas D to not outscore Folk by 40 points. And for MFL to not reverse Edge's fumble yesterday and make it a TD.

League 2: For MBIII to not outscore Folk and Lynch by 16.

One (1) Touchdown (TD) from Lee Evans.

Monday night is a great place to have your first of the season!

L1- Need ONE CATCH from Patrick Crayton. I've seen it all, stranger things have happened. Let's hope he doesn't pull a Santonio tonight.

L2- First off, I need Berrian and Driver to NOT have combined for 6 friggin points last night :goodposting: . Shouldn't have even had to sweat it tonight. I'm up by 5, with Romo and Folk, and he has Dallas D/ST. I'm confident, but nothing is ever gauranteed.

Not much. I need 127 total yards from Barber, Crayton and Evans, or substitute the equivalent in touchdowns. Of course, Evans has had a game with 7 yards and Crayton has had a whitewash, so...

League 1: Need Lee Evans to score less than 43 in non PPR. :goodposting:

League 2: Need Folk to score less than 10 points for the 3rd time this year.

Basically, I need Dallas to score about 50 points through several TDs and some field goals, but have essentially none of it come from the running game or the defense. I'm down by a bunch and I have Romo, Owens, Witten and Folk. Please, score early, score often, score late, and score through the air.

I'm 27 points down with Romo to play and he has Witten and Barber3.

So, basically I need like only 40 yards for Witten no TD's.

I need a game like last week for Barber, where he only got 7 points.

If I were lucky as all get out and gave up say 11 points to those two players, that would put me down 38.

Last week in my scoring format Romo got me 45 points and in week 1 he actually earned 51 points. So, if he could go off like those weeks, I could actually give Barber and/or Witten a few more yards to play with.

But if Barber or Witten hit the endzone, I'm pretty much done. The only good news is how upset can I really be if Dallas players are scoring TD's.........it's a win win for me.

down by 22 ihe has barber lafti have romo, owens, and the cowboy defense. should i worry?
I'd be a little worried, but it's certainly not impossible. PPR? That would help! You should be able to make up the 22 pts with Romo alone, so as long as Owens and the Cowboy D outscores Barber, I think you're okay. At least you're in store for a great game to watch. Monday night games are always a blast with a match on the line!

The first one is obviously a win but the second as you already, is tough. It's certainly possible though, look at the Giants, they scored 35 points and Tynes had 5 extra points. That's the kind of night you need, like 4 Td's from Dallas and a field goal. Not that I could root for this, but does your league have negative points for missing kicks? If not, see if you can get a rule change before game time!Good luck.

I need 16.5 from Jason Witten to win.
Good luck, this will be tight. In tradional scoring you look like you need 110 yards and a TD without throwing any bonuses you may or may not have in your scoring.Witten's solid but that's a lot to ask of a TE under the gun.

Yes. Thanks for the Good Luck.

Let's say Folk gets 10, that puts you up by 60. Even if Buffalo's offense didn't show up and Dallas got the shutout for that, there's no way a scoring system should have a way for a D to get 60 points. LOL, if they do.......I advise you to select a defense in the first 2 rounds next year.

Let's say Folk gets 9. LOL

After a nightmare Sunday I still have a chance. I need a TD and 20 yds from Julius Jones. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
