What grilling accessories do you use? (1 Viewer)

I just bought a Weber E-310 and am now looking to pull together a nice set of grill tools.  What would you all recommend in terms of necessary tools including grill baskets and various grates?

A beer coozy. Preferably one that chills. Just keep that thing in the freezer until it's time to grill.

Wireless thermometer to monitor meat and grill temp. Especially helpful in winter so you can sit inside.

In addition to those mentioned.

Extra long tongs

a good grill cover

either a decent flashlight or one of those head lights for winter cooking.

Screw the coozie, get a mini cooler that'll hold a sixer and enjoy. Wait add the coozie back for the one cracked

good suggestions already. adding:

- flexible skewer for kebobs
- non-stick grilling skillet

Skip the fork. Don't poke holes in your food.

Skip the pizza stone.  Put your pizza dough directly on a clean grill.

Some kind of flat surface for vegetables is useful.

A water spray bottle for flare ups especially if you're a bubba burgers or other 85% burgers guy.

A good sized grill brush with a scraper blade at the end, a wire brush on one side, and a soft pad on the other side.

At least two flippers - one for chicken one for beef - so you don't cross contaminate.

A couple good sized platters for when you bring the food inside.

A second propane tank if you have people over often.

By now someone is going to start arguing about the spray bottle.

Also when you want to properly clean your grill, scrape it down and use the write brush, then use a pair of tongs to hold a wet paper towel and clean the grill grate.  Then get another wet paper towel and put a little cooking oil on it and do it again. Do this if you haven't used the grill in a while, or if you just cooked something that leaves the grill grate disgusting like barbecue chicken.  You can use the grill brush pad for normal clean up but for a real mess, the paper towel works way better.
