I specifically chose those two FAs because 1. it's a soft RB market, reportedly, and 2. Fuller is...polarizing, to say the least. But I do expect him to join Watson, and have said this for a while now, so IMO that's most likely & got my vote.

Mayfield is relegated to a really expensive bridge QB at this point. Not good.

IDK what is going to happen with Jimmy G but I feel like it would have happened by now.

I went Jones but it was more or less a coinflip.

Yep - Seattle is the only team left besides CAR. And I can't imagine CAR tying up 40M to have the spectacular duo of Mayfield/Darnold.

His February shoulder surgery derailed any chance of dealing him - I suspect by design.

From your mouf to god's ears, as the expression goes.

juicy comment…what does this mean exactly?
It was spicy, and it was intended to be. It means that more and more I am questioning why he waited to have this surgery until February, wen it was his thumb that was at issue during the postseason, and that several in local media have brought up the matter of timing, which has me questioning it as well. That he knew he would be on the trade market, but chose to have a shoulder surgery late that now won't allow him to throw until June/July seems like weird timing.

Some on local sports radio have opined that JimmyG wanted to 1. get cut instead, so he was free to sign wherever, and/or 2. That he wasn't happy about being replaced, and this was a little snub at the Niners organization.

So it means what I said - I suspect the timing was by design. Otherwise why not have it the week after you're eliminated from the post season so you'd be throwing in May instead, and it doesn't tank your trade value?

That’s what I thought you meant but wanted to be sure.

it has been an interesting rollercoaster ride for the 9ers and Jimmy G and Trey Lance and, living in the Bay Area trying to listen to sports radio in the car, I can’t wait for the drama to be over. Jimmy has been a model citizen for the 9ers the whole time and this is an interesting "subtle" (not super subtle though) way to thumb his nose at the 9ers plans for their QB position. I have to imagine that the absolute craziness of the QB moves this off-season have caught Team Jimmy G by surprise and if they’re rethinking they’re strategy. They might get their wish and get Jimmy release but there likely won’t be any starting jobs left (maybe fight it out with Marriotta in Washington or Darold in Car. Or his dream scenario is likely the Seattle job is still open and he gets to play his former team twice a year (assuming he’s healthy ;)  )

Yeah, at first I was like, "Jimmy nice guy? naw! He'd never do that!" but more and more chatter and I can't help but see some fire with that smoke.

Jones makes a fairly decent backup. (Insert obligatory request for the titans to sign him to back up the king if cheap)

Honorable mention:  Jarvis Landry

I kinda don’t want him back with CLE since Amari there now and even though DWatson at the helm I’m still not feeling like pushing out 2 WRs from CLE in my lineup

ATL could use some help, GB would be nice…HOU, lol, I guess
