Power has gone out twice in this game: once before the game and once on a break. But imagine this: Big Ben drops back, Wallace is wide open, he throws a perfect spiral and then... No lights.

Would they replay the down? Does the down continue and then suspend play?

It's a weird situation. It could be a huge advantage for the offense or the defense depending on the timing.

Interesting. About tonight ESPN said they'd play as long as it takes through whatever outages. The exception would be if there is a safety issue, then they'd finish the game tomorrow. If for some reason they couldn't finish it tomorrow in San Fran they'd finish it in Oakland.

Doesn't answer my other question but pretty interesting. I've never seen anything like that.
