This. The first thing that pops into my mind when I think of Ben Stiller is Ted from Something about Mary. To me that is his iconic role but that is probably because I enjoyed that movie the best of the others. ####er is probably second.
The answer is: "Himself". Because he basically plays himself in every movie.
Like Richard GereThe answer is: "Himself". Because he basically plays himself in every movie.
You went full #######. Never go full #######Tropic Thunder sucked balls
"You can trouble me for a warm glass of shut the hell up. Now you will go to sleep, or I will put you to sleep."Other. Hal in Happy Gilmore.
I was thinking exactly the opposite. Talentless hack.So many good ones hard tho choose.
How long have you been here again?Oh come on F***er is censored?
How do you get the beans above the frank?jerry stahl, imo.
but yeah- ted works too. FRANKS AND BEANS
He may not be very talented, but he's been in some great movies and has really had an amazing career. So, I'm not sure it matters whether or not any of us think he's very talented. I think this happens a lot of with most of the most successful comedic actors. They put out some great movies. Then they keep churning out movies largely playing the same characters (and why wouldn't they? it works). Of course most of the other movies are going to suck, as, well, most movies suck. Then everybody says they suck. Same deal with Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler. You can say they suck all you like, but they've made a bunch of fantastic movies.I was thinking exactly the opposite. Not very talented? Not saying he is the best but the guy has been a part of many classic comedies in front of and behind the camera. He may not be very talented, but he's been in some great movies and has really had an amazing career. For signature role, you really have to go Zoolander, even if it's not his best movie.
After all of his bigger hits (Mary, Dodgeball, Meet the Parents), I must say, I really liked Along Came Polly and Heartbreak Kid.

He does his own thing and I'm not sure how to define it but he does it pretty well.
I heard that Jerry almost didn't give him the part.Jerry Stiller's son.
