So many good ones hard tho choose. Id day Mary put him in the map but ####er is his signature role. Doesn't hurt he did it 3 times.

The first thing that pops into my mind when I think of Ben Stiller is Ted from Something about Mary.  To me that is his iconic role but that is probably because I enjoyed that movie the best of the others.  ####er is probably second.

This.

He plays an okay lovable loser but can't really carry a movie by his own.

Movie, Zoolander

TV, Tony Wonder

Real Life, getting Christine Taylor to marry him (although I think they are divorcing now)

I was thinking exactly the opposite. Talentless hack.
He may not be very talented, but he's been in some great movies and has really had an amazing career. So, I'm not sure it matters whether or not any of us think he's very talented. I think this happens a lot of with most of the most successful comedic actors. They put out some great movies. Then they keep churning out movies largely playing the same characters (and why wouldn't they? it works). Of course most of the other movies are going to suck, as, well, most movies suck. Then everybody says they suck. Same deal with Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler. You can say they suck all you like, but they've made a bunch of fantastic movies.

For signature role, you really have to go Zoolander, even if it's not his best movie.

After all of his bigger hits (Mary, Dodgeball, Meet the Parents), I must say, I really liked Along Came Polly and Heartbreak Kid.

I know it was a small part but I think the retirement home attendant from Happy Gilmore should at least be mentioned.

Not very talented? Not saying he is the best but the guy has been a part of many classic comedies in front of and behind the camera.

He does his own thing and I'm not sure how to define it but he does it pretty well.
