I actually went with American Sniper.  Hangover is probably the answer though, I'm just feeling a little off today.  :o

Right now it's Phil from the Hangover as that's what put his face really in the limelight(although Wedding Crashers should've been a choice too).

I think he's an excellent actor though and he's still quite young(early 40s?), so I'm willing to bet that his signature role hasn't been played yet.

Over the decades there have been a few actors who have been willing to dare to play people with mental disabilities and/or difficulties

Dustin Hoffman in Rainman

Sean Penn in My Name is Sam

Cliff Robertson in “Charly”

Cuba Gooding in “Radio”

All amazing

But Cooper’s portrayal as an Eagles fan is unparalleled.

Tell me the truth.  You have a kid named “Cade” don’t you? From when McNown was drafted?

HTF do  people not know who Bradley Cooper is?
Well on one hand you are right, he's been a Hollywood darling for a few years running now.

On the other hand, I'm not sure I get it myself as to why -- he's an OK actor, I guess, but nothing about any of these roles -- including the more "meaty" ones like American Sniper and Hustle -- made me think he was particularly deserving of all the accolades.

As an actor, he's a JAG IMHO.

So voted for his role in Guardians, which strangely to me, showed far more range and emotion than any of his other roles (that I've seen).

Ok I googled him. Yeah I really like him as an actor (Limitless and American Sniper). He’s just one of those actors for me where you know the face but not the name.

OP must have never seen Wedding Crashers.  Definitely in his top 5.

I went Sniper.  He's the focus of that movie and I think it will hold up for a long time.
