What is future for DeAngelo Williams? (1 Viewer)

I have been offered DeAngelo Williams in a trade and was wondering what the outlook is for him in Carolina for the end of this year but primarily for next year? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Future looks good since Foster hasn't take the job and ran away with it! I think that if Foster struggles we are in the midst of a RBBC. UGLY!

As a backup RB, who has more value...Williams or Mike Bell? Both are rookies that could get a chance.

As long as Foster still in town, his value is RBBC at best. Didn't Foster just signed a new deal?

I wonder how people will rate those top 4 rookie RB now. If I have to pick now Addai and Maroney will be the top 2, Bush and Williams are distant 3rd and 4th. I am talking about dynasty fantasy value.

I believe this has been covered before, but Foster's contract is a very low penalty, "cutable" contract for the Panthers.

Whatever. Maroney had one really good game, and people are annoiting him as the next best thing. All these guys are caught up in RBBC. Williams has been injured for the past 4 or 5 games, so we haven't seen enough of him to make such assumptions. Just my opinion, but I still see Deangelo being the best in his class with Norwood coming in second. Only the future will tell.

Williams is a great buy low.People skew their rankings way too fast in dynasty. Most dynasty projections should 3-5 year range. So he was hurt 6 weeks, and now he's a bum? Think long term. If he was a top 3 dynasty rookie pick 2 months ago, then he's still close to that now. Go on talent in dynasty leagues, talent always rises.

I recomend trying to buy Williams now because if he rips off another long gainer or good game this weekend any doubt his owners may have about him won't last.

He is an excellent buy low opportunity right now. But not for long.
