Seems to me he did not sign the lowballed extension in the off season. Is he under contract beyond this season? If so, what are the terms?

Think he is or definitely one of the lowest paid coaches in the league. Not sure how many years though, Id guess next year is his last year under contract

I put my Columbo trenchcoat on and found that he is in the 3rd year of a 4 year, $1.4mm per year contract. He was offered a lowball extension before the season and did not sign it.

I wonder -- exactly how much would they pay him when it was time to discuss the extension? It would take $4mm to get into the top 10.

Before Rivera was hired Lovie stressed speed, gap control, turnovers and just overall hustle getting to the ball on D. Think Rivera is just doing a real nice job implementing Lovie's philosophy.Dont forget Angelo, for going out and putting together the pieces in place.

I hope the McKasky(spelling) family realizes what they have and don't take the cheap way. Pay this man his monay. I'm sure the cheap arses will find some way to foul up this great team. If they do pony up, you are looking @ the next great NFL dynasty for the next 4-7 years.
