This week because of LJ and byes, I am staring 5 Seahwaks on Monday night.

1) Matt Hasselbeck

2) Maurice Morris

3) Leonard Weaver

4) Bobby Engram

5) Josh Brown

That has to be some sort of record right?

With K and D, I figure I've probably had 3 others (5 total) a few times. Without, like above, I don't think so

I don't think I've ever had 5 players from the same NFL team on a single fantasy roster, much less started them all in the same week.

If you play with a team defense, you have to figure there are only normally 7 positions ever worthy of a start: QB, RB, 2 WRs, TE, K, Def. Add to that the fact that many teams don't have a QB, TE, K or Def worth starting, and many only have 1 WR, and it becomes even more unlikely.

Not too mention the "all your eggs in one basket" philosophy, which would keep me from doing it anyway except in the most dire circumstances.

My first year playing fantasy football was 1998 and we had a guy starting this team:

QB Randall Cunningham

RB Robert Smith

WR Cris Carter

WR Randy Moss

TE Andrew Glover

K Gary Anderson

It was an interesting strategy, but he did win the league. :goodposting:

Last year a Packers fan in my league had Favre, Driver, Green, Franks and Hawk. Started them every week and got to the Championship game where I smoked him :)

I had the best record in the league last year starting the following players.... lost in the Fantasy Bowl .... again.

RB Tomlinson

TE Gates

K Carney

Def San Diego

Rule #1 Start good players (risky to include someone marginal)

Rule #2 NFL team must be consistently good offensively.

Likely candidates this year include Dallas and New England ... maybe San Diego again. ..and until recently Indy.

P.S. Just realized the original question was more about one week... that being the case .. I think the matchup is also a relevent factor.

I've got Romo, TO, Witten, and Folk this season in a very casual league. I'm sitting at 2nd overall right now. I picked up Folk when my original kicker went on bye.
