I think where the big advantage is, is to Gronk owners as he was going late 2nd or early 3rd. Graham was usually a first round pick.Sabertooth said:Graham and Gronk are quite a step above anyone else at their position. It seems like the owners of these two players have a very distinct advantage over non-owners. We get this debate every draft season that they should or shouldn't be first round picks. I'm starting to think they need to be number one and two respectively because of the advantage they impart. Sure there are guys like Demarco and Forte, but I doubt many took them number one overall. Meanwhile guys like McCoy were tauted as the best guys to have and they've failed miserably.
So let's here it. What is the record of the Gronk and Graham owners in your league.
MFL ADP had Thomas going before Gronk, albeit only slightly (29.34 vs. 30.43). That held true all the way up through season kickoff. In fact, Thomas' lead in drafts held the two weeks before the season started was even bigger- 28.62 vs. 31.37.jurb26 said:Except they aren't a step above and aren't providing a distinct advantage. Thomas is tied for TE1 in most leagues and Gates is out scoring Graham. Then you have Olsen in the mix as well.I'm in too many leagues to go listing all the records. Suffice it to say so e are winning, some are losing. Others are middle of the pack. Just depends on the rest of their team.Sabertooth said:Graham and Gronk are quite a step above anyone else at their position. Like I said this preseason, the value at TE is Thomas. He was had 3 rounds later than Graham and a round later than Gronk. Producing top TE results.
amazing how this simple concept eludes so many. stop spouting off records. Tell us instead where they are points-wise.h2h records are almost meaningless in evaluating a fantasy team...total points is a much better indicator
You really need to define the scoring system to look at thisSabertooth said:Graham and Gronk are quite a step above anyone else at their position. Why?When Hillman is the RB in Denver, JT's value takes a hint. With Ball or Anderson in there, he's on par with G&G
Same here, same record also. I didn't get Gronk until just before he started going off (owner got antsy and needed a RB). 4th in points scored.I have both Graham and Gronk in both my leagues and I'm 6-4 in both. 2nd highest score in one league and third in the other.
