If by "exploiting" you mean keeping banks from foreclosing on my clients' homes or keeping landlords from evicting my clients from their homes or suing car dealerships for selling my clients cars with rewound odometers or any number of situations where non-lawyers ####ed over my clients then I guess that's what I do.

Not sure how getting thrown out of a residence you don't pay for is somehow getting ####ed over

Exactly, I hate when people blame the government. The people are the government, blame the citizens if you are mad about something politically.

Are we still operating under the notion that citizens are capable of making intelligent decisions?

Why wouldn't they? There is more free access to info than ever.

There's always been access to information. Now there's just too much with way too much of it being misleading.

One of the biggest issues we have as a country is that we don't value local government enough. People only care the president, it's really annoying.

I'm from a very small town, the school system is failing, the roads are mess, the cops are corrupt. Everybody complains yet nobody does anything. You really think Obama cares about Bum####, Texas?

If people want real change they have to do it themselves and stop expecting somebody else to it.
