What supplements do you take daily? (1 Viewer)

I have been a big supplement taker in the past, but have really scaled it back.  I generally take half of a mens multi 1-2x a day.  I take fish oil sometimes.  Creatine before workouts, and sometimes a Niacin.  Sometimes amino acids.  I also take chewable Fiber Choice 1-2x a day.  I try and eat pretty healthy.  I make smoothies pretty often, and put a ton of stuff in them.

Omega 3 Fish Oil (Kirkland)

Carlsons Cod Liver Oil.  With fish oil you need to make sure your not just taking a bunch of fillers.  This stuff has no additives.

 
Unless you guys have rheumatoid arthritis, you're all just wasting time and $ with those fish oil pills.

Currently taking a combo of two supplements in conjunction with weight-training; Clear Muscle and Cutler King

 
Unless you guys have rheumatoid arthritis, you're all just wasting time and $ with those fish oil pills.
Why not eat fish instead, it's pretty easy to catch salmon, I caught a 13 pound king salmon and several coho salmon last weekend.

 
Curious as to those that also take glucosamine and/or chondroitin - did you notice a difference in how you felt with activity and how long did it take to feel it? I am just starting and hoping to feel some help or easier recovery from runs within a few weeks, but know they also say 6 weeks is when you should feel it. If not, it won't help.
I've tried it 3 times over the past 20 years and it's never worked for me.  The ortho surgeon I see out of Mass General Hospital told me it's a waste.  (Yes, I realize that some see benefits from it.  Just stating what he said to me.)

What's up with the weight training supplements,  as far as how do you pick something safe for you and know it's legit? I'm looking more for an energy boost to weight train but also trim down 15lbs or so.

You gotta read the reviews. Bodybuilding.com has a good forum and you can also check Amazon reviews.

The last thing you want to do is walk into GNC and let them sell you some overpriced garbage.

I usually just use some beta alanin mixed into a drink with taurin (Monster rehab)

MultiVitamin for man over 50

Vitamin D - 4000 mg

Fish Oil 

Cinnamon 2 500mg. Good for keeping Blood Pressure down and also for helping keep my Blood Sugars down
