Saints for only a portion of their home games of last year... 3 games in the Alamo Dome, and 4 games outdoors at LSU Tiger Stadium

Houston has a fully retractable roof, while Dallas has an open air stadium... how are these "in betweens"?

I think you just described how they are "in betweens". I don't think Texas Stadium is similar to Qualcomm Stadium or the Superdome. It's got half a dome, since it's partially enclosed.Reliant Stadium is sometimes a dome and sometimes it's not.

How would you describe those two facilities?

I would not list Texas Stadium as an in between... it is no different than any other outdoor stadium... when it rains you get wet and when it is sunny you get hot. The "partial" roof just means no air circulation.I see your point for Reliant, but instead of an in between, I'd call it "Super Stadium" because it shares the best of both worlds! :D

You don't think Texas is louder because of the partial roof?

I have only been to 1 game there... it was not even close to as loud as Reliant (season ticket holder).
