Any other opinions? I was in a league this year for the first time that required lineups to be locked 1 hour before kickoff.....I thought it was a ridiculous rule.
Someone else in a league with 1 hour before gametime? What is the reasoning or justification for that? As you can see, it is an extreme minority kinda rule you have....can you explain?
Basic lineup has to be in Thursday night if you have players playing in that game and want to use them and than the rest of your lineup can be changed up until 12:59 pm for sunday monday games. Though I do have to point out that my league doesnt use any software to run it. The 2 co commisioners update everything for the league by computer themselves and all transactions must be sent to all members of the league via email.

Wow, that brings back memories. Thats the way we used to do it back in the 80's and early 90's. Its hard to believe there are still leagues doing that in 2006.
5 minutes before that player plays. With the online technologies avaialable, no reason at all to have these lineups all in before the first game or 1hr before, etc.

Sad....... but in one of my leagues we have to do that so everyone stays on the up & up....too many people with the excuse that they did not want so and so in thier line-up after he sucked... prevents whinning, if you didnt say to start him then he doesnt start....Burnt an owner (Bucs Fan) on Turkey Day with Romo, he stated that he wanted to play RW and Galloway on the messageboard before the games started.......after Romo's 4th TD against his beloved Bucs he calls up saying he meant to start Romo..!! Oh Well, I meant to buy Microsoft stock way back when too...!!!
