Back again this week with bullet point summaries from our huge and comprehensive Team Reports. You can see all the full reports here. https://www.footballguys.com/article/2024-footballguys-preseason-updates

I ask our writers from each Team Report to distill the big report down to the "need to know" bullet points. I add my take when I see it and edit. It's a huge time saver for me.

Enjoy.

So what's going on in Jacksonville?

Kirk isn't playing in 2WR sets? Do we think that will continue into the season or were they testing options in the preseason?
Evan Engram's snaps look like they're decreasing. What is driving that narrative? The two other options have a combined 71 receptions in seven seasons played.

I have difficulty seeing both Gabe Davis and the Brian Thomas supplanting Kirk who, along with Engram, have been very reliable targets for Lawrence.

Feels like a non-story.

I think that’s a good read. Davis and BTJ have a similar role than Kirk. Jax found out that life without Kirk last year resulted in not winning.

Yes this is the one thing that stood out to me as well.
