Yes. Well, my wife does... but I'm listed on the cards
Same. I even get asked about the card design choice. She seems to think I care about this type of thing. LOL.
Same. Even though I will be wrong whether I pick choice A or B. She over thinks it as if anyone actually looks at it when they receive it. We/She also waits until at least Dec 20th and is mad at walgreens/costco/whoever that it takes so long to print.

Never did. 3 years ago, I sent one as a goof to like 10 people. SO MANY people were pissed they didn't get one. And now they all expect one every year. I'm up to like 50+ now. Wish I never started.

I believe we are all married to the same woman.

In fact, this year when the cards came in, I noticed my wife had changed some of the pictures from what she had shown me. I was afraid to mention it in case it was in fact the design she had shown me, but went ahead and said something and she was pleasantly surprised that I noticed.

My wife keeps the cards she gets up year round on the door to our laundry room area.

Used to when our kids where little always did the family photo card but since they are both adults now we stopped.

How much are yall spending on cards?
I have learned not to ask my wife this - I know she gets them through Shutterfly when she has 50% off coupons (she sends I believe something like 300+ cards) and then I will get stamps when I do the Costco run. I bought I believe 300 stamps this year and she had to go out and get more. Definitely not something I'd approve from our budget, but I've learned that it's also not something I'm going to argue about as it makes her happy

I'm in charge of this in our house and have done this every year. Older kid goes to college next year so this might be the last year. plus Costco getting out of the photo biz made me re-evaluate how much this hobby costs.

No letter. No gimmicks. Just a single nice photo of the kids each year. As part of the christmas decorations, I have a collection of 16+ cards that I enjoy. Glad I did this.

We did for the first few years our daughter was born, just a simple Happy Holidays style card with a couple photos of the kiddo, maybe one with all of us. Then one year we sent out about 50 of them to friends and family, and we realized we only received 3 from other friends/family. Decided the cost and effort wasn't really worth it anymore, as it appears most folks just do a social media post instead so we quit.

We got yours yesterday, our first of the season. :)

I can’t stand pictures, and avoid them at all costs. Wife likes to take pics, including things like meals. It’s a constant struggle not raining on her parade.

We send out cards about half the time, as she’s too disorganized to get them done before the holidays. But she makes them about 75% of the time, so I’ve had to discard piles of unused ones. I also need to surreptitiously remove other’s cards from the refrigerator, after a year or so.

For those who like the cards, which pictures most interest you?

Seems like most people prioritize pics of their children, but for my friends at least, I’d much rather see their photos, rather than the kids. I also prefer pictures of landscapes/trips over people.

Another vote for “stopped ~5 years ago”.
In 2017, we started talking about which photo to use, I made the comment that everyone has already seen our favorite pictures and kept up with our lives (2017 was a very interesting year for us between my retirement and adopting our daughter) and we were busy, so maybe Not send cards this year. My wife readily agreed.
The only pushback we got was my dad being upset that he didn’t get our card. When I told him we don’t send one any more, he wasn’t happy but didn’t push it. He’s asked me about 4 more times about whether they’d get our card since then. 🫣

Same. I sent a handful sporadically when I was a single young adult.
What pictures did you include on the singles card? A pile of unwashed dishes/laundry/crushed beer cans? Favorite Pornhub search terms?

And who did you send them to?

No pictures. Just Christmas cards. Sent them to a few married friends out of town ... buddies from college who got hitched early and I wanted to keep up with (the days before email).

"Cards" and "pictures" are kind of separate things, no? I might be missing your meaning.
Oh OK, I was thinking more of the ubiquitous “family update” postcard-like things, which people populate with their own pictures, as opposed to conventional greeting cards. Don’t think I’ve ever mailed the latter.
