What's the going rate for Lee Evans? (1 Viewer)

What is Lee Evans fetching nowadays on the trade market? I'm curious since one money league that I participate in has seen the (frustrated) GM trade him for Baltimore's... Mark Clayton. Funny, I can't even see why I would call it lopsided and veto the trade.
Hines ward - very surprised to get the offer..........

I've been a big supporter of Evans in this thread. I am however sitting him this week in favor of Stallworth and Reggie Brown or Shaun McDonald. I am not by any means saying he will be a stud. Just that he does represent tremendous upside.
I tend to agree with you on this point. Following this week he has a few nice matchups to get going. He is on the WW in my main $$$ league and with tight roster limits I can't afford to make a move now....hoping that he doesn't blowup against the Ravens so I can pick him up next week.....shhhhh
McAlister appears to be out. I might have to rethink this a bit.

I haven't made any Lee Evans predictions yet this year, except to say I drafted him in the 4th round.

He goes for 7 receptions, 136 yards and a TD tomorrow.

I have now made my only Lee Evans prediction.

I dropped him to the wire on Friday, and he's till sitting there.

We have pretty short benches, but he's the 82nd WR in scoring in my league (PPR). There are 30+ free agent WR's above him is scoring.

If you have room on your bench, he still has a ton of "upside", but 6 weeks waiting was enough for me.

I'm starting him at my flex over chester taylor. Hopefully, this is the week. I've already dropped him in other leagues

In my 12 team, 3 keeper, PPR league somebody just traded a 2nd round pick next year and Demetrius Williams for him.

About two weeks ago in my 14 team PPR redraft I traded LT and Brandon Marshall for Reggie Bush, Terrell Owens and Lee Evans.

5 catches for 98 yards. Not bad at all. I see he had a 54 yarder which is nice to see as well. Top receiver on the team and the team beats a solid squad. With the Jets, Bengals, and Phins on the horizon, I see nothing but improvement from the Bills. And Evans should be a big part of that.

ALOT of people are gonna be very upset that they dumped Evans to the waiver wire or via trade.
When? I still have him but he's only starting for me this week out of necessity. I won't outright release him but I'm actively trying to trade him. He may have some decent games from here on out but I don't see him doing anything to make me regret getting rid of him.
soon (within the next 2 weeks). call it a gut feeling. Good WRs dont just drop off the face of the Earth. I dont care how bad their QB is. Just look at Steve Smith last week with Vinny T, Fitzgerald with Rattay, and even Galloway last year with Gradkowski.
:excited: Told u guys not to dump him

Buy him after he plays defenses not named NYJ.

Doesnt he have Cincy next week? If Losman is slinging it, could be some good numbers for Evans.

While he was so so for most of the game the 80+ yard TD reception put him over the top. Some will look at it as skewed stats because of one big play but I think that you have to love the big play ability . I think he's a solid start going forward as he's looked pretty good in 3 of his last 4 games. With Cincy and Miami coming up he could make alot of people regret dropping him early on.

He has Cincy, then Miami. He gets Miami, Cleveland, and NYG in week 14-16. :fishing:

Those 2 3-game stretches are why I targeted him weeks ago. Even still, I almost didn't start him today. But I did and he was the difference between winning and losing. Looking forward to seeing what he can do against Cinci's D.

Same here difference between me winning and losing although in my 2nd game the owner has a slim shot to beat me. I picked him off waivers yesterday and had to make the choice between him and Evans. Let me tell you it was a close call but I had to put him in against the Jest D and hope.

The thing about Evans is that he's one of the top 10 receiver talents in the NFL. Buffalo is struggling as he struggles. **** Jauron is a very smart coach. During the bye week, I doubt he is playing golf. He is designing ways to get his best player the ball. It will happen.
Oh, please. One great year in Chicago that landed him the Coach of the Year award does not make him a smart or great coach. In fact, that year has been the exception not the norm with him.
:loco:

I would trade Evans for a chicken sandwich, if I could. As it is, the league I am in doesn't allow trades, so as soon as a decent WR emerges in the free agent market, I am dropping Evans for him.
Curious to see how this worked out.
The mediocrity of the rest of my receiving corps all but forced me to hold on to Evans. I did bench him several weeks ago (when he had 90+ yards), but he was in my lineup the last two weeks. Still doesn't make up for the close games I lost in September when he was getting 2-18-0, but at least the Bills coaching staff finally got their heads out of their behinds and figured out a way to get the ball into the hands of their most explosive offensive player.

We dont know if their staff really did get their heads out until we hear that JP will remain the starter....Edwards was just plain ugly to watch...and the 3rd down slant that jp hit Evans with before Lynchs long scamper was nice...if Edwards was in there they would have ran it on that third down, punted, and maybe lost the game.

I'm gonna freak out if they don't leave JP as the starter. He improved dramatically last season, was named the team captain, and gives the offense ALOT of something T.E. can't. He spreads the field, is mobile, and has given the offense some spark that it's sorely needed.

When do teams usually anounce the starter for the week? If Losman is going to continue to start Evans is going to be great come playoff time.

I'd be shocked if Losman is not the QB... what would be the rationale for benching him at this point?

I can't explain the rationale sometimes, but the media in Buffalo is pimping Edwards if healthy becasue he is the "future". I say the future learns on the sideline this year. Ask Lee who he wants.

I agree. I haven't been following the situation closely, why would Juaron go with Edwards?

As an Evans owner...I would be asking for something pretty big (probably too much) because of his great playoff schedule.

You'd need to blow me away with an offer for him. He's gone from a throw-in type of guy in trades to a primary target. If I had to put a price on him in a wideout for wideout deal, it would be like this.

Moss (obviously)

Owens

Reggie Wayne

Larry

Anquan

Welker

Braylon

Housh

ROY

Plaxico

Maybe.

Driver

Jennings

Hines

Steve Smith

Torry Holt
