What's the latest on McGahee...when's he back? (1 Viewer)

Its been quiet on Willis - I assume thats because ribs are a tough injury to predict. It really is an issue of pain tolerance - and as someone who had 2 broken ribs I have to tell you it was brutal just to breathe for a few weeks let alone get hit.

I am assuming he will be out at least a month and maybe be back for the FF playoff stretch. Even if he does return he will not be 100% ala LT last year and as we have already seen this year - Willis at 100% was not getting it done.

While I agree with you that a 100% Willis was not getting done from a fantasy football perspective and I also agree he won't be 100% there is a major difference between him and LT. Assuming Willis does not return for a few weeks he would have rested his injury for a few weeks while LT never took a break.Other than that news is very quiet on Willis and I even think it's possible they just IR him in a few weeks. I own both Willis and A-Train so I've paid attention to this and here are some tidbits of info:*The injury guy for ESPN whose first name is Will I think and generally reports inaccurate stories said in his chat last week Willis would miss about 4 weeks.*Both Buffalo newspapers made references in their Monday papers about the fact Willis was not missed and how well A-Train ran.*Every report you will read will say this is a pain management issue. If you weight the fact the Bills will be officially out of the playoffs in a few weeks and A-train has proved a capable replacement it just seems doubtfull that they would bring Willis back with a few weeks to go and make him the feature ball carrier while he's dealing with bad ribs. More likely IMO he splits carries with A-Train if/when he returns thus rendering them both useless from a fantasy perspective.
