I agree with everything in your post except for the comparisons with Ben and Grossman. Those guys are first round draft picks and should never be benched. What was Brady--a lowly 6th rounder? He should be on a very short leash......

whats the point of reading and posting grossman ben threads? ben has a championship and should play, grossman is basically still a rookie and deserves a chance.

You cannot compare Grossman to Brady. There's a big difference between "deserving" and "earning".You CAN compare Roethlisberger to Brady, but it's not really close. But at least you can compare them.

I agree. I believe that every time an elite QB has a bad day, he should be benched. For the rest of the season. Even if he is possibly the best QB in the NFL.
