Johan hasn't been a total disappointment, but at
WHIP and ERA up, K's down, second half brillance of the past is inconsistent. Homers are WAY up, 30 through 5 months, way over the season totals of years past, indicates to me maybe hitters are picking up that change a bit more or he could be tipping it. Or have those that watched him closely seen something else? Kind of a crossroads time for him, he could get a real good deal out of the Twins, but if he slips again next year, could he be risking some cash?Pitching Statistics SEASON TEAM G GS CG SHO IP H R ER HR BB SO W L SV HLD BLSV ERA 2003 Min 45 18 0 0 158.1 127 56 54 17 47 169 12 3 0 5 -- 3.07 2004 Min 34 34 1 1 228.0 156 70 66 24 54 265 20 6 0 0 -- 2.61 2005 Min 33 33 3 2 231.2 180 77 74 22 45 238 16 7 0 0 -- 2.88 2006 Min 34 34 1 0 233.2 186 79 72 24 47 245 19 6 0 0 -- 2.77 2007 Min 29 29 1 1 194.0 162 74 68 30 44 203 14 11 0 0 -- 3.16
