About to make some burgers for dinner, was gonna go with my typical salt, pepper, oregano, paprika, and cayenne for the meat
This is pretty much exactly what I use, except subbing Onion/Garlic Powder for Oregano and using Sea Salt and Crushed Black Pepper instead of normal "Salt and Pepper"

I usually use a seasoned old school panini press on the grill to really get the juices flowing as well.

Also 15 min. before I grill I use a smoker box w/ mesquite to get a hint of smoke on the burgers as well.
Yea I actually use Himalayan sea salt and a black pepper grinder, havnt used table salt/pepper in awhile so didn't even think to specify lol
 good stuff!

Pressing the burger while you cook it? Man I would rethink that. Basically leaves the juices on the grill.

A buddy's family makes and sells a dry rub for beef/fajitas that is the best I've ever had. I use that on my burgers, sometimes not even adding condiments after because they are so good with just the rub.

Worcestershire sauce

garlic powder

And a little bit of sea salt, crushed black pepper, and I have these dried shallots, sprinkle a few of those in the mix (or if time permits, throw them in the Worcestershire sauce for a few minutes to let them get a little more hydrated)

Maybe some cheese crumbles if I have them laying around. In the burger > on the burger.

summary:

tony chachers seasoning - salt, cayenne, garlic, other goodies

worshictershire - anchovies, sugar, salt

mustard - optional

grilled onion

bacon

I was visiting Japan. According to McDonald's we Americans all put eggs on our burgers.
Actually a fried egg on a burger is pretty good.
It is. I just find it funny that Japan's "All-American Burger" is one with an egg on it. You never see that here.
The food place that locals most adore here is a place that sells terrible little hamburgers with a fried egg on top. Cheesy Westerns, they call'em. No idea what makes'em "western".

Somehow, this place built a massive following with those, crappy pink hotdogs, and bad chili (they don't even serve fries and for some reason, that's part of the charm).
