when does LJ come back? (1 Viewer)

given the latest report that LJ just has a "cracked bone in his foot" and that the chiefs are "hoping he can return this year", any guesses on when he'll return? in a couple weeks? in time for FF playoffs? in time for NFL playoffs? 2008?

i scanned/searched all the LJ threads and didn't find anything constructive on this topic... please delete/move if :honda:.

My money says that he's done for the entire season.
i'm guessing you're right... a cracked bone sounds like "almost a month"... by which time KC will for sure be out of the playoff hunt, so they might as well let him heal completely.

My guess is he'll miss 2 more games, then have be brought back slow in the next game & have a stat line similar to Week 1.

I may deal him to a team that can afford to wait 3-4 weeks for him. My team probably can't.

Come on people.....seriously?

How did Alexander do after the cracked bone?

How long did KC lie about it?

LJ is done for the year, but just in case, several more threads should be started.

If you base this off alexander, he will miss about 5-6 weeks and take another 1-2 to get back to full speed.

FoxSports.com's John Czarnecki reports that Larry Johnson has a cracked bone in his foot, but the Chiefs are hopeful he'll play again this year.

Word is leaking out of Kansas City from multiple sources that Johnson indeed has a broken bone in his foot, but the Chiefs are hoping he can return this year because he can already stand on it. Still, LJ is out next week and the most likely scenario is that he'll miss many games after that. We'd still hang on to him in nearly all leagues.
