When Does My Green Card Expire? (1 Viewer)

I applied for a replacement green card on June 3rd, 2015. At that time, the expiration on my green card was 12/1/2015. The official placed a sticker on the back of my card saying that the "validity of the card has been extended through the month and year indicated". March 2016 was hole punched on the sticker. I still haven't received the replacement and will be doing a fair amount of international travel in February and March.

When does my green card expire? Specifically, what day and month does it expire?

Through March could be interpreted as soon as March starts. Or, it could be the same day as my original card expired (12/1/15 so 3/1/16). Border guards can be complete ##### sometimes.

Personally, I believe it expires March 31, 2016 but I wanted other opinions.

Huh? Words have meanings. Through means exactly that, through. I can see where guards can be #####, but they would be ##### and wrong in this case.

None of the three countries care that I'd have three but some others might. So, in my case, yes I can have three passports.

I'd say it expires 31 Mar 2016.

But rather than have to deal with a GC renewal, I just went the citizenship route. Was pretty painless.
