I believe he has a $3 million dollar roster bonus do next off season.If Maroney looks good this year as his backup, I doubt Dillon is back for 2007 with a cap number of $5.5 million (actually it would be higher because of any pro-rated signing bonus).

Don't have the exact info but I recall reading that while it made zero financial sense to cut him this year it becomes a viable option next year if he continues heading south. This year it would have cost more to cut him than actually have him play.
