I’m only in two leagues these days, a decades-old IDP redraft, & a Dynasty. The dynasty rookie draft is a couple weeks after the NFL draft.
Refraft was last weekend.

We hold our rookie draft at the 11th hour... Wednesday. Sometimes it feels a little like waiting to open your Christmas presents, but there it certainly more information on the table, for better or worse.
I was feeling pretty good about the 1.04 and planned on Etienne or Javonte. Almost certainly would have taken Etienne had we drafted before his injury. Now, I suspect Javonte is off the board and maybe Chase falls, as most of his buzz has been negative. So, no doubt, there are consequences to drafting this late.

Maybe? Two teams ahead of me have plus TEs. My suspicion is that Harris, Williams and Pitts will be off the board. Thinking I'll have a choice between Chase and Waddle, but really wanted a back in this spot. The thread is about drafting late and I'm sure I'd feel a lot worse had I drafted Etienne early.

If it goes Harris, Williams, Chase I’d have a very hard time passing up Pitts. I mean, if that’s a need & you’re a believer.

This year was really weird for us, my crew is in a super busy decade of their lives(running businesses and raising families and taking care of parents etc.)
As a result, less than ideal draft dates. My two primary drafts are Thursday the 9th and Saturday the 11th.
Both will be moved up next year.

that’s tough - we had that happen once in the past in my IDP league. It was the year Hunt went ham in the opener.
I took him & his 50 burger at 1.10. My week 1 opponent was pissed.

In recent years my money redraft league has taken to drafting the Friday of opening weekend -- the day after the first TNF game. This year it will be drafting on Thursday, the day of the first TNF game.
It used to tend to draft Labor Day weekend or the weekend before that, but it became harder to schedule dates on those weekends that worked for everyone as we got older and were more likely to have family vacations during those times.
