A few Footballguys Magazines Still Left! - Something Fun Announcing Monday... Would Love Your Support (2 Viewers)

I can understand some people being upset. I don't fault that. That said, I purchased a copy to support FBG more than anything else. I am looking forward to seeing the product, but I am happy to wait. As with many new ventures, sometimes you have gotta work out some kinks. I hope you give this a go again next season. Hang in there, Joe!

Don't do this part - it's out of their hands once they mailed them. Joe already knows it's not optimal. I posted mine not to complain, but just to report "nothing here yet", kind of for those who still didn't get theirs yet too.

Thank you. I've got a email box full of the same type "what a joke you" or "You have no clue about customer service" mails. And we've refunded lots of people. It's life.

Wow. A lot of sensitive people in here. No where in my post did I put the sole blame on Joe. And if anyone took the time to read my previous posts they would know where I stood when it comes to the post office. Joe does carry a small portion of the blame though for setting expectations so high and perhaps naively believing his printers/USPS timeline. And he's owned up to that. But here we are nearly a week later then it was supposed to arrive and still nothing from the post office. Sorry, but the whole thing is laughable at this point
 
Still nothing, seems like the same timing as those perfect draft articles. :wink:
I may still have one last late draft by the time I get it though.

I think at some point way early, like Cheatsheets.net early, Joe had pointed out the issues with outdated printed magazines vs the online cheatsheets. Just staying on brand 25 years later. :football:

To his point, your offer was very much appreciated but to me it really was a nothing burger. Im not gonna ask for a refund or a replacement magazine cause the original one will hopefully arrive (eventually). And the $10 off on FBG merchandise is meaningless to me. I just have no need or desire for any of that stuff. Its just not me. And if you put yourself in their shoes, they are already ticked off at FBGs, why would they spend more money on stuff promoting FBGs, the company that ticked them off in the first place?
 
Today is my anniversary and appreciate the delay so we can make it another year together.

Enjoying the suspense of “is today the day?” Tomorrow going out to lunch with some friends and will be wondering if it’s in the mailbox until I get back home.

Thanks everyone for posting reviews. Getting me more twitchy for the payoff.

Got mine last week but haven’t cracked it open yet. I get everything I need online here.

Bought it to support FBG and to have it as a novelty item. Been sooooo long since I’ve had a fantasy magazine.

I know some think it's laughable, but this is super discouraging we still have folks that don't have the magazine.

Thank you GB. I think part of the gut punch on this for the folks that have had delivery troubles is I was so happy at first with how it turned out.

Most of that has been replaced by all the negative we're dealing with. We're already over a couple thousand dollars in refunds. But it was fun to see a really nice product.

...still looking forward to my pleasant surprise...

Pre-ordered 07/16 ... 08/07 fbg's email says shipped 08/05, 3-5 business days for delivery.

Left on trip out of country on 08/06, son who lives at home watching and collecting mail, while we were away. Son has no interest in FF, outside knowing how much I'm immersed in it, and respects that it means a great deal to me. Very unlikely he appropriated it for himself. Security cameras say he was the only one besides the postman anywhere near the mailbox.

Flew back in last night...no mag.

Shop app appears to be saying 09/01 delivery...sure glad I get all the info I need via the online content, the Forums, and a few other sources, and that I was primarily buying to support FBG ... but I do have a close friend, who takes FF far less seriously than I do, who I was planning on sharing it with - to him, it would be the Holy Grail. Sure hope to see it soon.

Maybe it's just a Maryland thing...

When the magazine was first announced I was really excited, though I did see the price and thought 'hmm a little steep but whatevs'. Now that I actually have the magazine, no, it was not steep. This is by far the nicest fantasy football magazine I've ever had in my hands. Wow, you guys really want all out on this and I love that.

I'll be back with another review of the actual content once I've been able to devour it!

My magazine showed up last week by the way. Haven't opened the cellophane yet. It showed up the morning after Joe had offered to send another one 1st day mail or something. I'm glad I declined. I was like "I'm happy to keep waiting it's no big deal" and then it showed up the next morning. Ok opened just now and my god it smells sooooo good.

Apologies for the delay. Make sure to use the printable customizable cheatsheets we included in the email I sent. As well as the full PDF.

The cheatsheets are actually quite a bit better than the magazine simply because they're more current. And if you have more one than one draft, you can use a new one for each draft.

As I'm trying to understand, are you serious about using a magazine for your draft, either ours or another one?

I ask in that the printable cheatsheets we sent are a fantastic tool for drafts.

But most of the $3,000+ in refunds are where people said they didn't have the magazine to take to their draft and use it to draft. And that surprised me.

So I'm trying to understand more. Thanks.
