Still a few Footballguys Magazines left! - Something Fun Announcing Monday. Would Love Your Support (2 Viewers)

I got my magazine today in NC. Other than them forgetting to put a golden ticket in it, the magazine is very nice. It covers a lot of different areas in FF, and the layout makes it easy to find information. You and your staff did a great job, Joe.

Not sure if it is the magazine but got an email via USPS that an order from stamps.com is expected Monday Aug 18th. The tracking history shows shipping label created in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Thank you. We've seen a few others that are showing Monday as well. Please let me know here if that day changes. Thanks.
This package from Santa Fe Springs was not the magazine and did not receive the magazine today. I appreciate all the communication and offerings that are probably above and beyond. Annoying when things out of your control take longer than they should with no good reason why.

I got mine on Saturday (after main draft had already started). I don't appear to have gotten a golden ticket. Anybody on the boards gonna go see Charlie at the Chocolate Factory?

Still nothing. I leave town tomorrow for in person drafts on Saturday and Sunday. I was really hoping it would arrive today.

I''ve been gone since last Thursday. Back In Boise today , from LA, and still no magazine. At this point I should get a refund. It's been like three weeks now?

And it finally arrived today. I leave for Vegas tomorrow and am in a Main Event next Saturday and didn't want to bring my computer to the draft, so I'm glad it's here

Sorry folks. With no mail tomorrow it looks like Tuesday is the next day. Lots of people let me know their copy was in the mail yesterday. But for folks that want a refund, there are instructions in the email I sent. We're up to about $6,000 so far. Sigh. Learning experience. Apologies for the frustrations.

I'm sorry this got so out of whack. Do you have any recourse with the delivery people on this? Not much you could have seen or done about this beforehand.

We'll see.

Not a lot you can do about the post office. But I would see if you could work something out with your printer. They bare some responsibility in this. Their initial 3-5 days estimation of delivery was ridiculous. They should've known better.

Still nothing in Orange County....this is getting comical...
I said that about two weeks ago and got rebuked for it.

I know a lot of people are blaming the post office. But equal blame should go to the printer and their decision to use media mail. For the life of me I don't know how they told Joe with a straight face that estimated delivery date is 3-5 days. Any decent printer knows better than that. Media mail has super cheap rates. As a result it does not go by air, by truck only. And there is no guarantee on delivery dates. And typically magazines are not eligible for media mail rates which opens up the possibility of delays as it's subject to inspection at each individual mail station it passes through.

I was always on the understanding that media mail parcels are to not have any advertisements in it.....books, CDs , VHS, Cassettes, user manuals, etc. are ok....not sure if this had ads in it .....and may be returned to sender????

Mine arrived today in central Florida. Our mail is sometimes a day off the informed delivery because our mail is delivered by contractors. This didn’t even show up on informed delivery. Going to flip through the mag today for fun

This is 100% on the printe, from the beginning I said this .They sent the magazine media mail presorted standard aka bulk mail. They could sit in the plant and even sit at the delivery office . This is a problem if thr office is under staffed , they will just linger on the floor. If you have a shady carrier they can be tossed in to the ubbm and thrown in the dumpster . I hope the printer didn’t charge @Joe Bryant for media mail and then ship them bulk to make a larger profit.

Rebuked? I think I said I didn't think it was comical or funny that we've had such a challenge with the magazines delivered.

We'll well over $6,000 now in refunds so it's been a costly learning experience for us as well. Some may find that comical I'm sure. I do not.

Thank you GB for the patience. Hope you enjoy the magazine.

Still nothing in Orange County.

I'm sorry, GB.

Feel free to initiate the refund per the links I included in two of the email communications on this.

Apologies for the frustration.
Apologies for saying comical.....wasn't toward you at all ...was toward the printer and USPS....you've gone above and beyond....no need for a refund....I am still anxious to see it....
No worries, GB. I understand the sentiment for sure. All good.

Im sorry Joe. No one is laughing at the fact that you are taking a hit financially or even your reputation. I understand the gravity of your situation. And anyone can tell from your posts how proud you are of the magazine. But it was never directed at you.

But I refuse to get upset that a fantasy football magazine (of all things) is 3 weeks late. Life's too short for that. So I'll chose to find the late delivery and the circumstances surrounding it . . . uh, comical.

Sometimes you have to learn to laugh through the tears

Totally understand. Many are like you.
I just happen not to think it’s comical.

Well you are on the wrong end of it than I am. Im delayed a couple weeks of reading material. You're out just a wee bit more. But you've done absolutely everything you could to rectify the situation. And then some. And then some more. Take pride in the exceptional customer service you've provided. Feel good about that. And in time you'll look back and have a chuckle or two over it.

Agreed - Joe showed what an engaged, honest business owner looks like.

Joe - would you consider another run of 100 'special editions' for those that missed out on the first batch? Price them at $99.99 with that number on the cover to differentiate. You'll recover the refunds and make everyone else's in the first batch worth more.

If you build it, he will come.
