As someone who watches the NBA a lot, I can tell you that the Kings' owner would have to do a lot more than that to deserve anyone's respect. He's a disaster.Sorry, I don't watch the NBA. Just simply not a fan. I would, though, have found a whole lot of respect for the owner of the Kings had he turned this situation into a learning moment for everyone rather than pandering to his star player's ignorance.I think everyone has to do something at a home game and they decide what to do. The Wizards wore special jerseys last night if you caught that ESPN game. The t-shirts were just a Kings thing though, right?I thought you and the previous poster were suggesting this was just a Kings/California thing aimed at the Asian community in the area (that's certainly how the conversation sounds) and I was just pointing out that it's a coordinated leaguewide effort. I didn't mean anything more than that.
Here's a press release about a bunch of the stuff they're doing. Looks like maybe it wasn't every team? I dunno.
Also not to get into this again, but way more people are learning something about the Chinese New Year because of what the Kings did than if they'd just said no to Cousins and gone ahead with their plan
