There sure hasn't been much news on free agent quarterbacks, has there?
No signings, visits, rumors, or much of anything on available quarterbacks looking for work, or teams calling them.
It's been about 12 or 13 years since the installment of free agency, or about the lifetime span of a proven NFL quarterback.
I think this is a big reason as to why there simply aren't many, if any at all, out there. Jeff George's name even continues to come up at some point every year.
I think we're beginning to see yet another cycle of the "free agency era" take hold on the NFL.
Of course, yes, rookie QBs are pushed into work faster these days, but you'd think there'd be some kind of demand for veterans.
I guess Culpepper has had some looks, but not much. The Raiders have brought back Tuiasosopo? What did he ever do? (Of course, it's the Raiders)
Culpepper must be pretty bad if they chose him instead.
Thoughts?
